I have a LOT to catch up on, both here and on the report from November trip.... but just looking at the last page or 2 of posts, I want to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your friend. And also that your Aunt hasn't been well. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Sending virtual hugs.

I'm SOOOOO sorry I've been away for so long! I have missed you, and sometimes will see FB posts and wish I was more in touch here! I hope you will understand, work has been INSANITY since February. I'm glad you have a change on the horizon with work for the City. Keeps everything fresh, I think. I've had some changes recently at work too, first temporary, now permanent - so I'm hoping things will be more settled now and this will bring some downtime back to my life. Anywho, I will work on catching up on your reports.
Uh oh, your Bears and my Patriots are playing tonight.... maybe I should stay away...... at least it's only preseason.

Talked to my boss today.. Start of Budget (January) i get to move again! Back to my old stomping grounds! THE SIGN SHOP!
Yes - where they make all the City signs. i guess the WHOLE administration part of the plant is screwed up and i get to go and fix that! WOOHOO!

Congratulations to getting to move to a job you like better. It is always bad to hate your job and always good to like it.

Will it be less stressful? It doesn't seem like you need any extra stress in your life.

Always stressful. Never know how you will be welcomed to come in and fix the problems they created. Attitudes from the office women are the worst. Thankfully i am not the kind of person who cares about that stuff.. HA HA. I am not into office politics i just need to get the job done.

It does.. But what are ya going to do? I have to pay my bills!! Like you i have great benefits! so i must stay. and i have loads of sick and vacation time. sad thing.. I am burning through it like crazy!!

Hi! The tins were just for that surprise. I had to put them in something! so i found the little tiny lunch box type tins..
We made these last year for a Disney craft night:








It was a LOT of fun to make!!
They have lots of pins-- But I make them put the ones they WANT to trade on their lanyards! Im sure i will buy another lot of them on Ebay.

Good Monday Morning all..​

Eh i didn't lock my keys in the car this morning so it is much better then last week!

This was a WONDERFUL!
Saturday? Did our grocery shopping for the week.
Came home and DID NOTHING! that's right i planted my fat behind right on the couch!
LAZY!




Sunday?
I went to the red box again to sift through the OLD equipment. 4 hours later there is a dent.
Came home the kids started packing their school supplies to find out they are missing paper and other things.. ya know things i already bought but is now missing??? Grumble. so off to the dollar store i went! Yep you get dollar store now that i already bought it all before..

After that i threw in dinner and guess what? I SAT ON THE COUCH AGAIN!!! oh how i LOVED it i truly truly loved being able to sit with the family and just RELAXED!!!

I'm happy for you, and I totally get it. I think you know I work in government too (federal)... totally a mixed bag of good and bad, but ALWAYS frustrations with budgets and personnel issues. I'm thankful too for the benefits and flexibility that I have. It's been especially helpful since having my little guy 2 years ago. (Can't believe he's 2!)

Ahem, YES it is time for a vacation! haha! We were supposed to be going this September, actually booked a bounce back when we were there in November, but we cancelled it. We had some unexpected house expenses this year, so we are looking at going back next year now. Boo. Quite possibly in September too, so maybe we can finally DISmeet then! We don't have any plans at this point, so we will see!! I feel bad that it didn't end up working out for us to meet up in November... but it WILL happen at some point!

and we lost by one damn point.

I actually didn't end up watching. Such a bad fan. I will watch once the games count - we usually do something every weekend for the game, either at our house or someone else's.

That was the year between when Son#1 graduated and Son #2 was still in 8th grade. I still had 5 more years until Shannon graduated, so I kept on doing uniform stuff. Besides, both Andrew and Shannon were runners for the band. Believe me, once Shannon graduated, I was gone! I've been to one home football game since then - and that's been 11 years now.

I had kids in high school for a total of 13 years - I think I gave enough time - I loved it while I was doing it though.

Just let me know when.....

Yay for not locking your keys in the car!! My worst key story: John gets up and goes out to work at ridiculous o'clock in the morning. I get up later, rushing around to go to work, can't find my house keys. ANYWHERE. Text John, he doesn't have them. Spare is in his car though, which makes me re-trace my steps. Got home from work late the night before...so the door was already unlocked...so I wouldn't have noticed...Yup. I was locked in the house, my house keys were locked in the car. Had to get my Dad to drive over with the spare and let me out. Best bit? That did not only happen once. Now we have two spares, just in case.

The kids are adorable! I can't believe the difference between this year and last year's pictures, especially Meg! Wow! I hope they had a great first day back at school.

Sometimes, I did see that video though, so excited for them!! I tend to watch Disney At Heart more, also Charlotte Lil Miss Chickas, AJ Rucker, and Ellie Steadman. Disney At Heart are my favourites though!

Yesterday.

Ok I still hate Mondays. Nothing good comes out of them. Unless i am in Disney.
Work got stupid again. I swear people lose their brains by 10am.

Get to the field. Getting really frustrated to the point i ended up throwing a helmet. (It was not on a child's head. No children were hurt or around when i had my tantrum) I had to walk away.

The kids had a great first day. They went on and on about the teachers, one of them was a football coach for one of the summer camps they did.. So they have the IN on that class...
Another one is a friend of the family. Another one we already had in 3rd grade. I am sure they will have a great year!! (hopefully)

Today i am going to drink my coffee. Shut my office door and pretend i am not here. watch some new you tubers Blisskins told me about called Disney at heart. once i am done catching up on my emails and answering really stupid questions i am going into hiding here! LOL
At the field i am just going to KEEP COOL AND RELAXED.
