The schools in our neighborhood started today, too. Your kids are adorable and I like the look back pictures. That picture of Peanut with the ice cream cone is really cute. And can I say that Matt is looking rather grown up in that picture.
Seriously WHERE did the time go? We are constantly busy - because of THEM - but still how are they in 6th grade already? Looking like teenagers?!? WTH Peanut is even starting to look more mature.. i hate every minute of this...
Yay for new adventures!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Thank you!! I need it! I need a change!
I'm glad you had such a relaxing weekend. You deserved it. Although it looks like you might have had to fight the puppers for a spot on the couch! lol
Thanks! it was WONDERFUL to have a weekend totally off.
Yep trying to get a spot on the couch isn't easy. even when you get them off they pop right back on --- ON TOP OF YOU.. it's a no win situation..
I do sometimes. I also watch DIS Unplugged and
Undercover Tourist.
You must watch the Wednesday episode!
hi!!!! Thanks for understanding!
I'm happy for you, and I totally get it. I think you know I work in government too (federal)... totally a mixed bag of good and bad, but ALWAYS frustrations with budgets and personnel issues. I'm thankful too for the benefits and flexibility that I have. It's been especially helpful since having my little guy 2 years ago. (Can't believe he's 2!)
Yep government workers.. i bet some cities are better to work for then others.. I would like to try another city!!! LOL Can't beat the flexibility.. So i try not to complain too much. there are people out there who are working to the bone without the benefits and things we get..
2?!?!? WHAT?!?! COME ON! STOP THIS INSANITY!
Ahem, YES it is time for a vacation! haha! We were supposed to be going this September, actually booked a bounce back when we were there in November, but we cancelled it.

We had some unexpected house expenses this year, so we are looking at going back next year now. Boo. Quite possibly in September too, so maybe we can finally DISmeet then!

We don't have any plans at this point, so we will see!! I feel bad that it didn't end up working out for us to meet up in November... but it WILL happen at some point!
Understand the unexpected expenses! Sorry you had to cancel. BUT really happy we might finally meet up!!
It was strange how so many of us were there and hardly met anyone! i am sure we passed each other several time and didn't know it... LOL
I actually didn't end up watching. Such a bad fan. I will watch once the games count - we usually do something every weekend for the game, either at our house or someone else's.
OMG they are just growing so fast.... wow. Happy First Day of School to you and your trio!
These kids are growing WAY TOO FAST! i can't stand it!
YES!!!!!!!!!!! Soooo excited for them! I had a feeling where their trip last year was such a big deal, they really went all out with it. I was thinking that might be their last hurrah for a bit!
Have a great week, Mo!!
Me too! I wonder how their videos will be now!? Oh i am sure they will get back there with the wee one as soon as possible!
I hope you have a great week too!
That was the year between when Son#1 graduated and Son #2 was still in 8th grade. I still had 5 more years until Shannon graduated, so I kept on doing uniform stuff. Besides, both Andrew and Shannon were runners for the band. Believe me, once Shannon graduated, I was gone! I've been to one home football game since then - and that's been 11 years now.
Oh yes i can understand staying then! LOL No way will i stick around when the kids are out. I am not a fan of being on a board the ONLY reason i am there now is to make sure my kids are safe. I don't trust someone else putting my kids head at risk after seeing what condition the equipment was in! No way! Did i mention i bought the kids new helmets?
I had kids in high school for a total of 13 years - I think I gave enough time - I loved it while I was doing it though.
You gave enough time and more! They should have given you an award!
Just let me know when.....
I need a break from everything so i am ready!
Yay for not locking your keys in the car!! My worst key story: John gets up and goes out to work at ridiculous o'clock in the morning. I get up later, rushing around to go to work, can't find my house keys. ANYWHERE. Text John, he doesn't have them. Spare is in his car though, which makes me re-trace my steps. Got home from work late the night before...so the door was already unlocked...so I wouldn't have noticed...Yup. I was locked in the house, my house keys were locked in the car. Had to get my Dad to drive over with the spare and let me out. Best bit? That did not only happen once.

Now we have two spares, just in case.
The rest of monday went to crap pretty quick.
How do you get locked IN THE HOUSE?!? isn't there a lock on the door knob?!?
TWICE?!?! that's even funnier!
We just got a house alarm. I had to make sure one of the windows didn't have the alarm on it so when i lose my kids i can throw matt threw that window to open the door! HA HA..
The kids are adorable! I can't believe the difference between this year and last year's pictures, especially Meg! Wow! I hope they had a great first day back at school.
Tell me about it. How does this happen HOW do they grow so damn fast?!? Yes i am seeing a lot of maturity in her lately. all the baby chubby cheeks are going away..

They loved every moment! They have great teachers!
Sometimes, I did see that video though, so excited for them!! I tend to watch Disney At Heart more, also Charlotte Lil Miss Chickas, AJ Rucker, and Ellie Steadman. Disney At Heart are my favourites though!
I am too.. can't wait to watch!
I have not heard of Disney at heart.. BUT i will remedy this TODAY! Thanks for telling me!
Stopping in to say hi!!! I cannot believe that the kiddos have grown so much - even just since last year!! What???? They are still adorable though - and Peanut is still your minime!
Hi!
I can't deal with the transformation from my chubs to maturity.. I am missing the chubby cheeks arms etc. I am seeing young lady in Peanut. Matt is looking just like a teenager. I hate it all..
I Hope they had a great first day at school!
They did! Love their teachers!
Keeping you on my mind and hope you all are doing OK. Miss you, my friend.
Thanks, rather not get into the bad stuff...
