Why do you "LOVE" your home resort?

This is a no brainer: We own at three resorts and LOVE them all for the same reason........they ain't Jersey.

Why do I love OKW?
Lots and lots of space!
The wonderful CMs!
'Welcome Home' on every visit!
Being able to park right outside!
Blissful peace and quiet!
The Brownie Sundae at Olivia's!
The Trumbo Ferry!
Watching the golfers from the porch as I drink my tea.
The other members and guests who share a cheery hello!
(I have had more interaction with other guests at OKW than any other resort.)
Truly feeling at 'home'.
The CMs not matter what their role who always have a cheery hello! I can honestly say that I get a smile, a wave or a greeting from all the CMs at OKW from the front desk to Olivia's to Hank's to the Bell staff to Housekeeping to Maintenance to Horticulture.
Because I have been a member since 1992! And it has been a great 12 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Home: Saratoga Springs

Reasons we purchased:

- Location. Disney World is great, but I don't fell the need to get slapped in the face with it. Staying at OKW gave us the feeling of leaving WDW...but not really leaving it. We're anticipating the same atmosphere at SSR.
- 50 years of use (God willing).
- Resort theming.
- Dedicated DVC resort.
- Parking right outside building.
- Lower point chart than BWV, BCV, VWL.
- Themed pool.
- Price (great promotion when we bought).
- Food court. With two little ones, we don't often do sit-down meals. The food court is perfect when we don't want to eat in-room.

OKW would have been a very close second choice, but with the 50 year contracts and special pricing they had 4 mos ago, SSR was a no-brainer.
