Why do you love HS?

We love it because it appeals to our 3 boys. We stopped for lunch at Pizza Planet and then quickly scooted over for our TSM fp and then it was go, go, go after that. When we were heading over to fantasmic, we realized, we missed dinner because we were so caught up in the fun. Sad to see the parade is gone, my middle one loved it! For us, it's a full day park and we are spending 2 full days there in December. Would like to check out Animation Hall this time.

Star Tours
TSM
LMA
Indiana Jones
JTA
ToT
RnR
Disney Jr. Show
Osbourne Lights
Fantasmic

We love everything about HS!!

TSMM
RnRC
ToT
Little Mermaid show
Animation Class (amazing how even though I have ZERO artistic ability, in there, I can draw a decent Mickey, Tinkerbell, Stitch, Donald, etc.)
Indy Show
LMA Stunt Car Show
Great Movie Ride
Star Tours
Muppets
Backlot Tour (I would say we like that, not love, lol)
Beauty & the Beast Show
Fantasmic
Meeting SO many Pixar characters
The shopping
Food is a little lacking, but we LOVE Sci-Fi and Pizza Planet is great too

I could keep going, but you get the point. :thumbsup2

All of my disney trips begin with HS. It used to be because I didn't like the park that much and wanted to 'save the best for last'. Now HS is one of my favorites. I love the atmosphere. I love how small and uncrowded most of the park is. The entire park seems cooler in temperature as well.

Sci-Fi Dine In Theater is absolutely amazing :upsidedow. Also LOVE: TSM, the animation classes, Indiana Jones Stunt Show, and the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to see Fantasmic yet. It's always on my list to do along with the Osbourne Lights and a ton of the restaurants/street entertainment. I still feel like there's so much do to as HS!

I love:
Star Tours
Muppets
One Man's Dream
Streetmosphere
Fantasmic
Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
Sid Cahuenga's
Writer's Stop
Tower of Terror store

Put some villains stuff in the villains shop and move the hat and I'll be an even bigger fan!

The Little Mermaid show is so dated, I honestly thought it was the worst show in ALL of Disney World.

Love, love, love Rock n Rollercoaster. Best ride ever. Looking forward to Jedi training for DSs. IMO the Streetmosphere performers are the best out of all 4 parks. Very funny. You must do 50's Primetime Cafe. We like Lights Motor Action, but it can get hot as PP said. Love Art of Animation.

HS has always been one of my favorites. I love the theme and the music played around the park. The CM's doing the skits on Hollywood Blvd. are very talented. And TOT is probably my favorite Disney ride ever. That said, it is more of an adult park than the others. Also, while the shows are very good and I do them every trip, I have less of a desire to see them over again whereas I redo rides a ton. So, instead I just bounce back and forth between TOT and RNRC repeatedly :thumbsup2

TSMM is a good attraction. Certain seats I think spin more than others, because a ride or two felt a little less exciting I think. But it is very interactive and Disney-esque. Definitely get a FP+ for this not Mermaid. The line for Mermaid will be easy, being a show it seats a ton of people and it isn't that long.

To be fair, compared to Epcot none of the other parks seem to match the food. HS has gotten a bad rap though. The Brown Derby is good and Sci-Fi is overlooked a lot. CS is decent but they do have some unique treats for the park.

And, I can't wait to see the Osbourne lights! It has been years since I have been near the holidays.

Here's my list of stuff I love about HS:

Tower of Terror
Rock N Roller Coaster
Toy Story Mania
Beauty and the Beast Show
Pizza Planet
50s PTC
Osborne Lights
Hollywood Blvd
One Man's Dream
The different mix of Pixar characters to meet in the Animation Bldg
The Great Movie Ride
and last but certainly not least...
FANTASMIC!

Some stuff is boring and/or annoying to me, but I can keep myself plenty busy and having a blast just on the stuff above alone! :)

I love the variety of attractions, the theming, the smaller size of the park. Yes, that makes it seem more crowded. But it makes for a much more relaxing day than hiking all over AK or Epcot.

Toy Story Midway Mania ride!! We went to HS on Oct 8th. Got there for rope drop thinking we would enjoy everything and would want to spend a full day there. Fantasmic wasn't showing that day which we were a little disappointed about. Star Wars Tours and Muppetvision 3D were quite good as well as the M&G with Monsters Inc characters but Toy Story ride was our fave ride of the whole vacation! :) We got to ride it a couple of times but still ended up leaving at lunch time and heading to Epcot's Character Spot as my DS has REALLY taken to collecting autographs and having his pic taken with different characters :)

count me in as a DHS lover! I have always loved it! I think I love that it is kind of small! I have small kids so we love:

Little Mermaid Show (never has needed a FP when I was there)
Disney jr. show
Character greetings at animation studios (have always wanted to try animation drawing class but haven't yet)
TSM is amazing! Please try it if you can and then always followed by meeting Woody and Buzz!
Walt Disney one man story
monsters inc meet and greet
muppet vision 3D (not sure when it reopens)
planet pizza is yummy!
Star Tours
Jedi Training Academy
And...Tower of Terror!!!
We also just love strolling around. It's such a nice easy park!

There's so much I love about DHS! My DF and I both love RnR and ToT. I love the Beauty and the Beast show. He loves Star Wars and we both really enjoy Star Tours. We both LOVED TSMM and Characterpalooza. Next time we want to do the Great Movie Ride and check out Fantasmic.

When we go next October, we will likely end up doing two RD mornings just to get our fill of the big three (ToT, RnR,and TSMM)

Oh and we both enjoyed Pizza Planet..DF LOVED the meatball sub-he says it was his favourite Disney food! haha

Mama Melrose
Osbourne Lights
Fantasmic!
Rock n Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Star Tours
Jedi Training Academy
Muppets
Beauty & the Beast
Toy Story Midway Mania
Characterpalooza

There really is so much to do at this park, it is one of our favorites!!

STAR TOURS!!! Easily my favorite ride at WDW. Well except for the trams, they are my real favorite, lol.

The only thing I don't like is the Lights, Action thingy.

Tower of Terror is my absolute favorite!! It's DH's favorite as well. I love it just a little bit more than everything else because I am a huge Twilight Zone fan! I love that the entrance show is Rod Serling's entrance from "It's a Good Life." I also love the the room you are in for the entrance show has a lot of props from the various shows. Again, big Twilight Zone fan! I'm the nerd that watches the New Year's marathon every year.

Like a lot of people, DH and I enjoy the rides, but we also enjoy the "little things" offered in the parks. I love the street performers. While they are great in every park I like the ones at DHS a little better than the rest. I love Villain's en Vogue! Great place to find merchandise that is no where else on property. And perhaps this is the nerd in me but I really enjoy "One Man's Dream." I've never done the animation class but I think we will try it this November trip.

I also think it depends on the type of person you are and what things your enjoy. And also how you like to vacation. Try to keep an open mind and try things you think you might not like. You'll be surprised.
