Why do you go by your name on message sites?

There is a story behind most people's name as they can not roger as a login most of the time.

Mine log in is rmdo92, I uses it because of a long, long time ago, just before the Web and the internet (Yes there was a time) I started Univ. and I was given the login in "rmdo92" or "soton.ecs@rmdo92" on the Univ. network on in to JANET.

A lot of people just got to know me rmdo92, even with people I lived with, like the other people I lived with where jlh92, mjr92 and klb92.

I also have a Domain called byroger.com, which was a joke from the build system, that caused when system crashed with "bootrom by Roger" so as a joke I I got the domain byroger.com and made the email address bootrom@byroger.com to see how meny people tryed it.

Hi Roger this is Ruthie but can you guess why I chose my User ID Love the restaurant and collect everything back to the 1960's that has Mickey Mouse with a chef hat on I like trying to figure out user IDs I like personalized license plates too some really make you smile

Like I just posted on another thread, it takes all kinds to make a world. It certainly would be something new for me to call someone by number.
