Line Cutters:headache:

Can't wait to hear about GG. It is on our list for next summer:thumbsup2

Maelstrom is a fastpass:confused3 :rotfl2:

:yay: that the kids didn't get hurt running around at Soarin.:thumbsup2

I did the same thing with my crocs at Soarin:rotfl2: Peyton even asked if I was scared tat someone would steal them:rotfl:

line cutters..:scared:

Looking forwrd to hearing about GG...:surfweb:

Enojoyed your update. I love Soarin, it's my favorite attraction at Disney. I guess Brooke wasn't tall enough? Also I'm married to and italian, the inlaws are probably the worst part for me  . Waiting for another update, hopefully before I leave this afternoon. We are driving most of the way this afternoon. If not I'll have to catch up when I get back.

What is it about this ride that makes people get INTO the Standby line at all? I can't figure it out! There are FP's PEOPLE!!! Get one. Go do something else for two hours, come back! So simple! I thought I was imagining the "EVIL EYE" from those people. Guess not. :scared1:

I was thinking the same thing Lessa! How on EARTH did DM fall to page 3???? I thought maybe she got hit by a bus. :sad2:

I'm anxious to hear about GG too! And I can NOT believe that Maelstrom has a FP. :rotfl2:

Stupid line cutters:headache: I am so glad that you got your front row center seats!

Your California vacation will arrive before you know it.

Oh my gosh! I am first to respond! This never happens!
Yeah! Stupid line cutters! But we got great seats so it all evened out. Yes, it's not even 2 years now until our CA trip, but I'm not even planning it now cause it's too far off. Planning is the fun part.

Cutters...:sad2:

I looooove Soarin'. It's definitely my #2 behind POTC. It was beautiful. The smells, the scenery...MAGIC!!!
I definitely loved Soarin' and can't wait to ride it again in California!

Nice memory, DM. :)
Couldn't help but notice the flop robber comment... :rotfl2:
You never know when those Crocs robbers might sneakily steal your Crocs. ;)

Eeek! So, people will be shooting us with daggers as we walk up to the FP line? :scared1: Okay- I'll try to work on my "Too bad. It's your own fault" look before January. Thanks for the warning! :rotfl:
Make no eye contact with those people ... make no eye contact! :upsidedow

I still think that's hilarious that the Norway ride has fast passes!
But it really needs it. Who is going to wait even over 30 minutes for that ride. I love it - a lot - but not enough to wait in line for.

Hey- I just wanted to tell you that I gave you and Jo and shout out in my PTR today. I know you're not reading PTRs right now, but I thought I'd let you know. :goodvibes
So, what are you trying to do? Get me over to your PTR? You are just so sneaky! I may pop in over there you brat. But did you give Jo or me a shoutout first? :rolleyes1

great update done by memory.

cutters should be cut down. :confused3

anyway looking forward to hearing about Garden Grill.
Thanks Scott. I could never forget that feeling on Soarin'. There are a few things here and there that I do forget but pretty much I am pretty good with the vacation memories. Just don't ask me remember someone's name 30 seconds after introductions. Short-term memory stinks. Garden Grill update will take awhile. Definitely not this week. I still have to go around the world!

Maelstrom is a fastpass:confused3 :rotfl2:
If it wasn't for those line cutters, we may not have had those awesome seats! You'll have to wait at least a week or so before I get to the GG part of my TR. There's still the World Showcase to cover.

You really need a FP for Maelstrom. It's a great ride, at least I think so, but I would never wait in a long line to see it.

:yay: that the kids didn't get hurt running around at Soarin.:thumbsup2

You really have to be careful of Crocs robbers, you know... ;) You'll be waiting a bit for the GG update. Too much other stuff first!

No, Brookie was not tall enough. She measured only 37 inches this trip. She couldn't even go on Kali River Rapids. She did miss a lot, in the aspect of height requirement rides, but she still had a great time and mentions Disney World every day still. No update today. Have a wonderful trip and give me a link to your TR!!!!

I think it's totally fine for people to get in the standby lines! It saves more FPs for me and my family! Shhh.... we will not discuss the page 3 incident. Garden Grill update may be next week, may not be next week. It all depends on how I get through the World Showcase first. Andd yes, Maelstrom totally needs a FP!

I LOVE SOARIN!! My new favorite at disney!! We also got to sit smack dap in the middle-- It was awsome!! Both the kids LOVED it too! Javen wanted to ride it again and again!!:goodvibes How rude about the line cutters-- i know you DM and I would have thought you would have spoke up and told that CM" EXCUSE ME but I had my hand up first"!! Well you should have anyway:thumbsup2 Thats just wrong!!

We never did get around to malestrom--dont even know what it is:confused3 Oh well- maybe next time :rolleyes1

There was no disaster. Everything was fine. I was just an overly paranoid mom.

Nothing wrong with that :goodvibes

We finally get to the point where we are at a standstill. A CM calls out to ask if there are any parties of 2. And I raise my hand and go to sneak under the rope when another couple behind us goes right past us. Anyone that was standing next to me could tell I was totally ticked. They shook their heads in sympathy for me.

Ugh :headache:
Line cutters suck.

I hope that couple had end seats with total feet view. But I’m not bitter.

:rotfl2:

And there’s California right before our eyes. At this point, I start thinking of my grandmother in California. ... I decide right then and there that I have to do what I can to make a trip out there possible. Not only to see my grandmother and family but to experience a true Southern California vacation. Soarin’ had to be the best attraction for me the whole trip based on the feelings alone.

I do hope you can make it out to see your grandmother.

Soarin is breathtaking!

Disneyolic said:
We decided against it. We had a 6:30 pm ADR for Garden Grill so we knew we’d be back around here later. I’m sure you know where that idea is heading ...

I can't wait to hear what you thought of Garden Grill.

I married an Italian. So, let’s get a picture of Italy.

And then we get to Germany, where my mother was born ...

Where was your mother born and when did she move to the U.S.?? My father is from Germany.

Stop! You're giving away too much info on your TR!!!!! I thought of saying something when that couple cut in front of us but I just was not in the mood for a confrontation there with Alec. I knew we were getting on the next round anyway. And it turned out for the best!

You don't even know where Maelstrom is? It is such a cool ride! Short, but cool in Norway.

Ugh :headache:
Line cutters suck.
They do but I got the better seats, I'm sure!

I do hope you can make it out to see your grandmother.

Soarin is breathtaking!
Thank you. I am sure I will be able to. It just may take awhile. As long as she is doing okay for now, I'm feeling fine about it.

I can't wait to hear what you thought of Garden Grill.
But you'll have to wait until probably next week sometime ...

Where was your mother born and when did she move to the U.S.?? My father is from Germany.
She was born in Munich in 1946. My grandparents were actually from Russia and fled there during WWII.

How interesting!

My father fled to Canada after WWII.

Uh... I think I made it better now... :confused3 Who told you I was a brat? Must be the name! :rotfl:

There was no disaster. Everything was fine. I was just an overly paranoid mom.
Not at all us Mum's can see accidents before they happen!

when another couple behind us goes right past us.
NO how rude

Score! I hope that couple had end seats with total feet view. But I’m not bitter.
No not bitter at all :rotfl2: Good score on the seats :thumbsup2

Maybe I was afraid of the Crocs flops robber.
:lmao:

At this point, I start thinking of my grandmother in California.
I keep meaning to PM you about your Grandmother

Hey- I just wanted to tell you that I gave you and Jo and shout out in my PTR today. I know you're not reading PTRs right now, but I thought I'd let you know. :goodvibes
I saw, thanks

Uh... I think I made it better now... :confused3 Who told you I was a brat? Must be the name! :rotfl:
Hey you'd better not have swapped us  :rotfl2:

Excellent update, as usual. And as the Brits would say, "Brilliant!"

I had a feeling you'd get front row after you said that couple passed you up. The front row is DEFINITELY worth waiting for. I still think they should've designed it so that the feet weren't visible from the 2nd and 3rd rows.

Can't wait to read more! :thumbsup2

Finally catching up on everyone's trippie tonight.

I hate rude people, I love that you got primo seats, heh heh, what goes around comes around...

I get Alec all strapped in and I put leave my Crocs flops on the floor ... think again ... then quickly hop up and stow them in the pocket by my feet. I don't know why I did that. Maybe I was afraid of the Crocs flops robber.

Crocs flops robber!!:lmao:

Update today! :goodvibes

Uh... I think I made it better now... :confused3 Who told you I was a brat? Must be the name! :rotfl:
Uhm ... I think Jo is mentioned first! But that's okay. I love getting a shoutout!

Not at all us Mum's can see accidents before they happen!
Because we are so paranoid that an accident is going to happen no matter.

I keep meaning to PM you about your Grandmother
You didn't PM me? I haven't been keeping track honestly. If you want info, I'll PM you.

Excellent update, as usual. And as the Brits would say, "Brilliant!"

I was going to ask for front row but I didn't have to. I'm so fine! Update today!

Finally catching up on everyone's trippie tonight.

That's right! Catching up on all our TRs and then you'll be off again ...

Soarin' is amazing!! So glad that you guys enjoyed it!:goodvibes
