Enojoyed your update. I love Soarin, it's my favorite attraction at Disney. I guess Brooke wasn't tall enough? Also I'm married to and italian, the inlaws are probably the worst part for me . Waiting for another update, hopefully before I leave this afternoon. We are driving most of the way this afternoon. If not I'll have to catch up when I get back.

What is it about this ride that makes people get INTO the Standby line at all? I can't figure it out! There are FP's PEOPLE!!! Get one. Go do something else for two hours, come back! So simple! I thought I was imagining the "EVIL EYE" from those people. Guess not.

I was thinking the same thing Lessa! How on EARTH did DM fall to page 3???? I thought maybe she got hit by a bus.

Yeah! Stupid line cutters! But we got great seats so it all evened out. Yes, it's not even 2 years now until our CA trip, but I'm not even planning it now cause it's too far off. Planning is the fun part.

I looooove Soarin'. It's definitely my #2 behind POTC. It was beautiful. The smells, the scenery...MAGIC!!!

I definitely loved Soarin' and can't wait to ride it again in California!

I still think that's hilarious that the Norway ride has fast passes!

Thanks Scott. I could never forget that feeling on Soarin'. There are a few things here and there that I do forget but pretty much I am pretty good with the vacation memories. Just don't ask me remember someone's name 30 seconds after introductions. Short-term memory stinks. Garden Grill update will take awhile. Definitely not this week. I still have to go around the world!

If it wasn't for those line cutters, we may not have had those awesome seats! You'll have to wait at least a week or so before I get to the GG part of my TR. There's still the World Showcase to cover.

You really need a FP for Maelstrom. It's a great ride, at least I think so, but I would never wait in a long line to see it.

No, Brookie was not tall enough. She measured only 37 inches this trip. She couldn't even go on Kali River Rapids. She did miss a lot, in the aspect of height requirement rides, but she still had a great time and mentions Disney World every day still. No update today. I think it's totally fine for people to get in the standby lines! It saves more FPs for me and my family! Shhh.... we will not discuss the page 3 incident. Garden Grill update may be next week, may not be next week. It all depends on how I get through the World Showcase first. Andd yes, Maelstrom totally needs a FP!

We finally get to the point where we are at a standstill. A CM calls out to ask if there are any parties of 2. And I raise my hand and go to sneak under the rope when another couple behind us goes right past us. Anyone that was standing next to me could tell I was totally ticked. They shook their heads in sympathy for me.

And there’s California right before our eyes. At this point, I start thinking of my grandmother in California. ... I decide right then and there that I have to do what I can to make a trip out there possible. Not only to see my grandmother and family but to experience a true Southern California vacation. Soarin’ had to be the best attraction for me the whole trip based on the feelings alone.

I do hope you can make it out to see your grandmother.

Stop! You're giving away too much info on your TR!!!!! I thought of saying something when that couple cut in front of us but I just was not in the mood for a confrontation there with Alec. I knew we were getting on the next round anyway. And it turned out for the best!
