Rob wouldnt know what to with us combined would he! LOL

I would think DM could now see Rob whenever she wants - as she is now a CELEBRI-TEE don'tcha know!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: She can have her people call his people.

And, yes, DM - I am amazed and honored that you responded PERSONALLY to my earlier post -   It makes me feel good - because I'm feeling just the tiniest bit weepy as we just got home from dropping off my one and only baby at college - where did THAT 18 years go???:confused3 :confused3 Luckily, I already got my first phone call from her! Lucky also that we have our little Lilly puppy at home!

I need someone to talk to so I can get my post count up! (anyone but Sharky cuz she has WAY too many posts :rotfl2: ) Or I might be forced to talk to myself...:rolleyes1

speaking of Sharky...hope she got that job! ;)

:wave2: Hi DM!! Sorry, I am taking over your thread this afternoon!

I can't really talk because I'm cooking dinner, but I can say hi! :) I'm reading your TR, btw - I just never post unless I'm caught up, so I'm trying to get there.

I am able to cook tonight in my new kitchen! (Of course, that means that I HAVE to cook... Hmmm.)

Thanks - the sink and dishwasher were hooked up today, and the window frame redone. The floor still needs a few tile fixes (shoulda just done a new floor, too - next year...) and we need to figure out the lighting, but it's mostly in and lovely!

Of course, DH now says we're never eating out again. :lmao:

hey can't blame him for not wanting to eat out. It's kind of like getting a new car, how it's just so fun to drive when it's new and you drive it every chance you get! (right DM?)

OK--DM (AKA TFW supreme photo whatever)--put Ddad's clown head on top of the fireman......not sure if that sounds right, but you know what I mean, right???

Gotta run now (been to the allergy doctors--12 shots in 4 hours.....and now the kids get home early again cause it's still super hot......maybe the fireman will come.......:lmao:

Wait that is My Clown Face!!!!!

:cool1:

Check this out. Does anyone get the e-newsletter from All Ears? Well, my tip is featured in this week's newsletter:

I totally saw that in the newsletter! That was great! You ARE famous.

I can't wait to hear how your lunch was and see the pictures. I hope it was a magical mommy and daughter day through and through!

I can't wait to see brookie dressed up in her Princess gown ;) I bet she was happy to be a princess for a day!!! (I know I would be..hehe:rotfl: ) Anyways, I always look foward to reading more of your TR!!

I know the song...I don't know what year it came out though.

I may be little but I can take it! ;)

Girl I've been up since 5:45!

Great....oh wait...I totally read that wrong, does that mean there's an update FRIDAY? :confused3 I would love one today!

Aw you gotta do the mindbogglers! If I ever win I will let you know!
I can't be up that early unless it's for vacation or I can't sleep. Sometimes I wake up at 4 am to watch Y&R on SoapNet but then I go back to sleep. Yes! Update Friday, which would be today!

I did the photo and posted it on DD's thread. I didn't use the clown face though. I thought I'd make it look more realistic  Here it is:

Yes, I was sitting in a nicely dry office :goodvibes And I think I might have mentioned in my dining review that I am a lawyer... :goodvibes So, it is a job that generally comes with an acceptable office to hide from the rain! Actually after I had posted the day turned out to be lovely sunny and warm.

Are you really interested in pictures from the Black Forest? I have a few really nice ones, but really don't want to be so much off topic on your thread...

And to keep this on topic: I was just about considering to get a pair of crocs, but you seem to have had not such a great experience considering all the blisters you got.. Would you still recommend them???
Glad the weather turned out nice. But then, again, when you are working it doesn't really matter what the weather is until you are finished! I thought you were a lawyer but I didn't want to say that just in case I was wrong and then I would embarrass myself. For anyone else reading this post, I PM'd Flossbolna regarding the pictures of the Black Forest.

My feeling on Crocs....I absolutely love them. Yes, I got some horrible blisters. I am sure it is because of a couple of things. First, my feet are prone to blisters. I have gotten them with sneakers also. Second, the weather was so steamy and my feet were really sweaty and rubbing pretty bad. But I still swear by them at this point and would wear my Crocs Athens again. I would not wear the Capris or Ithaca to the parks. They are just not as comfortable. Comfortable, yes, just not as comfortable. The Athens are the best for comfort and I wear them every day at home. I hope this helped...

DM-can't wait to hear about the lunch.
Coming up today!

SWEEEETT-- If this works out I want you to come okay! *keeping my fingers crossed*
I told Rob about it and he laughed at me. WhatEVER!

Oh, I never thought of my celebrity connections but I don't like to be like that. I want to be a celebrity that everyone loves! You know....like Britney and Lindsay? :lmao:

so....update today::yes:: or tomorrow:sad2:?
Today!!!

Who is Sharkey?

hey can't blame him for not wanting to eat out. It's kind of like getting a new car, how it's just so fun to drive when it's new and you drive it every chance you get! (right DM?)
Didn't get the car yesterday like planned. Today and it's Rob's car so.....:confused3

Wait that is My Clown Face!!!!!:cool1:
The clown face does not show your GOOD side...;)

you're ALWAYS a clown...make-up or not!
Hey I resemble That Remark!!!!:cool1:

2. Rob, Evan & Alec have a great boys day...:dance3:
3. Brooke & I have a great girls day
4. My feet feel better with the blisters...:sad1:
5. A meeting with the Dream Team

Wants:

2. Have a good short rest at the resort in the afternoon
3. A good dinner at Raglan Road in DownTown Disney with the whole family.

Since Brooke was chosen as the Honorary Princess of the Day, that meant that she was the first to meet Cinderella...and a private visit at that! I thought how wonderful that would be! Brookie would be so excited. I could just imagine the smile on her face upon seeing Cinderella.

So we were both escorted in and Cinderella comes right up to Brooke and greets her as a Princess. Brooke froze. HUH?? What the fudge? Okay, I was sure that Brooke would totally lighten up sitting beside Cinderella to get her picture taken but she just wouldn’t budge. I had to pick her up and sit her beside Cinderella. And this is the photo that we received....
Cinderella.jpg

Well, isn’t that the most special picture ever? Seriously people. I was extremely shocked that she froze up like that. Remember, this is the girl who waited in line to meet Captain Hook and loved seeing him!!! Okay. Well, she did enjoy watching other kids meet with Cinderella while we waited to be escorted upstairs to our table.
P1000814.jpg

The CM that told us that Brookie would be Honorary Princess of the Day asked Brooke to come up to her and Brookie was all smiles until I took her there...
P1000815.jpg

The CM announced Princess Brooke to all, much to the envy of many little girls. I saw their faces and I am sure that some of them would have made better Honorary Princesses. But we got it so too bad for them! We were then told to make our way up the long spiral staircase. This staircase seemed like it went on forever. The CM actually asked me if I could pick Brooke up to move a bit faster. I wanted to say, “No. My feet are killing me and this girl, while not fat, is still not light.” But I picked Brooke up and gritted my teeth through the agony of carrying her upstairs.

We were seated at a window. At first I thought how wonderful we were near the window. What a great view. But here was our view...
P1000820.jpg

P1000819.jpg

Still much better than being stuck in the middle of the room I’m sure!

Brookie received her magical wand and was extremely happy with that...
P1000816.jpg

This is the picture that I used for thank-you notes for her 3rd birthday party...
P1000817.jpg

Along came my appetizer which I am not sure exactly what everything is. I know it had some thin meats, a small salad, and some marinated chicken plus cheese. Most of it was good.
P1000818.jpg

Of course, I had to take a couple of pictures of the room that I particularly liked. First looking up, I thought was quite lovely...
P1000823.jpg

...and then looking up another way I really liked these coats of arms (I believe).
P1000824.jpg

And this was our table runner. I love fleur de lis...
P1000822.jpg

They brought Brookie a bowl of buttered noodles which she ate about 10 pieces maybe.
P1000827.jpg

And I ordered the salmon which had flavored rice and a strange slaw.
P1000828.jpg

Finally the announcement came that the Princesses would be joining us. Brookie really kept asking where they were. I figured she would totally be more at ease in her own chair and coming to our table. Now remember how wonderful and outgoing she was at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends. First up, Belle...
P1000830.jpg

Oh dear. Back to the somber face. Well, how about Snow White?
P1000831.jpg

At this point, it is half sad and half comical. She is all smiles one minute and blank face another. I didn’t bother taking any more princess pictures because she just was not into it.

But there is always room for dessert. Here’s the chocolate buckle which was (duh) very chocolately but good.
P1000834.jpg

And the cutest sundae for Brookie. She wasn’t too interested in eating it but she did like the chocolate castle on top.
P1000833.jpg

Then it was time for the Wishing Star ceremony. Brookie did get into this. I have a couple of videos to show you. The first you will have to forgive me because me being a duh-head angled my camera vertically but I absolutely love when I tell Brookie to close her eyes...

And the 2nd video which, of course, I think is adorable and taken the correct way!

So, that concluded our lunch in Cinderella’s Royal Table. Did I enjoy it? Yes. But it totally was not what I was exactly hoping for. Still, I’m glad we did it and look forward to doing it again, except maybe we’ll try the Princess breakfast in Norway next time...

Next installment...June 26...Magic Kingdom...Leaving the Magic Kingdom

Aww! Even somber-faced, Brooke is adorable.

Awww, Brooke was too cute in her dress and in that video waving her wand around.

It is too bad that she did not get excited about meeting the princesses. Maybe the next trip will be different.

I did the photo and posted it on DD's thread. I didn't use the clown face though. I thought I'd make it look more realistic  Here it is:

Great job! Oh no.......do you think he could end up on some calendar somewhere???:scared1:

I have a confession to make............ I do not own any Crocs......yeah, I know it's the official footwear of TFW but I just always wear tennis shoes at Disney. But.......last week, my DH actually bought a pair to wear at the beach and he LOVED them. He squeaked like a big duck everytime he got wet and had to endure giggles from 2 teenagers, but he swore by their comfort......so maybe I'll try sometime!

I'm glad you had a good time at CRT. I do find myself that often MY expectations are too high! I was so excited to take my niece to see the princesses at Akershus when she was 3 (cause I really liked them and MY girls were getting too old to appreciate the event!).....but she ran from them and cried. Oh well.......she REALLY liked Goofy!
