Because if they called it an "Inn", it would be the
MAMMOTH CAVE INN :earseek:

And who would come to see a mammoth cavein???

This was my son's joke that he told everyone during a Boy Scout field trip to Mammoth Cave this weekend. Enough people laughed at his joke that he ended up telling it to everyone he saw. Kinda like that commercial where the guy goes around telling everyone that he's lowered his cholesterol.

Cute joke!

We had a great time with DS's Boy Scout troop. We (Sue, Sarah, and me) decided to tag along with the 12 boys and their leaders. We learned lots about the history and geology of Mammoth Cave. Our tour guides were excellent. The national park service has some great "cast members" at Mammoth Cave.

I'll post some pictures eventually. I promise.

That's cute!!! :teeth: Sounds like a neat place to go to John. I do think we ought to have a meet there sometime :)
