Why can't I have a princess obsession?

Dh thinks I'm weird. I have this obsession with Disney princesses. Is it really that strange for a 41 year old woman to want to have a princess birthday party on her next birthday?

Maybe he's jealous cause he wants one too. princess:

Not nearly as weird as the dude who posted here some time ago who was obsessed with the prinesses. I think Disney told him that he would be removed from WDW property if he did not stop stalking the Princess CMs in the parks. Anyone remember that dude? I think he hangs out around the Virtual Disney Boards...

I love Belle and Ariel! I collect Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp and Aristocats. I see nothing wrong with wanting a Princess B'day party. I yelled across Wal-Mart today for my DH to look at the cute Disney Princess Pins.

The interesting folks have "a thing".

Mine is Harry Potter, but princesses are quite cool.

Tell your DH that Disney Princesses are much less threatening than teenaged bagboys....

Of the two, which would he rather you be fascinated with?? *snicker*

I hope you feel like a princess on your next birthday!!

Oh, I remember him. He was Creepy with a capital C! :crazy2:

Shugar, I think as long as you're not like him, you're okay! :flower:

I have and believe I will always have a princess obsession. They are cute and wonderful and bring youth and magic into my life. My husband thinks it's rediculous but cute. You have a lot of company amongst the older princess crowd. princess: :grouphug:

sorry i'm not a princess lover but, i'm a sucker for poohbear !!

::yes::

When I turn 40 in two years, I am gonna have a Pooh party.

My mom had a princess cake for her 36th birthday party

My friends threw me a princess party last year for my 29th brithday. We started out by painting pottery with tiarras and jewels. Then we headed to our local bar hangout and we still had the tiarras and jewels but added wands and lots of pixie dust. i felt so bad leaving the place it was such a mess. LOL getting all the pixie dust off the floor must have been horrible but it was fun.

And just to mention I was turning 29 but some of the other ladies there were in there 40s and they were dressed up just like me. It was a complete hoot.

My obsession is with Mickey Mouse... Sorcerer Mickey to be specific :teeth:

You can have an obsession with anything long as you keep it G rated. ;)

Oh and no stalking... :flower:

I remember the princess stalker. He was freaky! This all started when I mentioned I wanted to have a princess breakfast during our (**hopefully**) trip in Sept. I thought he'd have a heart attack at the cost then he said I was too old for that stuff. Of course, I retorted back that I wanted a princess party for my bday in March and he said that was just weird. MEN!!!

Hunny, don't be ashamed at all! I'm 17 and still am obbsessed with My Little Pony! I still collect them and sleep with them. Why are you so ashamed?

Strange part is a 41 year old gal wanting a birthday party at all. Most chicks I know refuse to acknowledge their birthdays past the 29th one. :rotfl2:

I think a Disney Princess adult b-day party is the best thing I've heard of in a long time!!! What a great idea! That would be so much fun!
