We are annual pass holders and it does not at all come up as an option for FP. Am I missing something?? Thanks!

It's an option but depending on how soon you're going, it's likely that all it's FP's are gone. Unless your using the app and it's glitching and all together not showing the mine ride..then try the computer.

It's probably out of availability the day you are looking for.

30 days from today, it is available:

Today, only standby is available:

Would you be willing to post more screenshots of the FP+ selection process? Since I am still 160 days from my vacation I can't access that part of the app but I'd love to have an idea of how it works once my window opens up! :) Can you select specific times or will it just issue first available? Any tips? Thanks!

You will get 4 options to chose from. Pick one and then you can go in and try to move times to more of what you want. Keep in mind that other FP+s or ADRs can keep times you want from coming up for a different ride.

Sure...I have some time.

At midnight EST, 60 days prior to your check-in, OR 30 days if you are on-site or an AP holder log into MDE and from the dropdown box in the upper right go to FP+

The next screen you come to you will have to select the day of your FP+. I am still 80 days from my resort check in, so I only have 30 days of availability right now due to my annual pass:

Then you select the people in your group the FP+ ressie will be for:

Then select your park:

Then choose your attractions. I am in Hollywood Studios, so I have one tier 1 an two tier 2 selections:

Then you prioritize them

Then choose what option works best for you. Remember, once you select one of the options they lay out for you, you can always go in and edit an attraction or the time of an attraction you already selected:

For this example, lets go with option c

Once confirmed, you get a confirmation screen then you can edit or make changes to a FP+ or move to another day.

Are you using their website on the computer, or are you using the app? If you are using the app, have you updated it to the latest version? If you are on an old version of the app, that can keep it from showing up as an option. I know that one of the updates fixed that because I don't update without reading what the updates do, and I specifically recall reading that was one of the things it was for, so I immediately updated. They have had more than one update in the last couple months.

 so does any1 know how much time b4 or after your ADR will the system will let you book a FP+?

i guess it makes sense but booking your ADRs 180 days in advance can ultimately affect your FP+s once your 60/30 date arrives - that's a bummer! :worried:

that ever elusive BoG or CRT ADR might bump you out of an A&E or 7DMT FP+ :headache:

dang it's a lot of acronyms in this post! :rotfl:

Thank you so much LSUfan4444! The system works differently than I thought it would. This will really help with my planning. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. :)

Wow, I totally agree.... thank you SO much LSUfan4444 for taking the time to post this!! I had no clue how this works and you just completely explained it! Disney needs to let you put this one their site!

Wow LSU, that should be it's own stickied thread! Very helpful for a first time FP+ user who's window isn't open yet. Million thanks!

I saw other people mention "practicing" but finally figured out I can't do it until my 60 day window. It's tremendously helpful to have seen the screen shots and step by step! Thanks!!

Hello! I LOVE The screen shots and the step by steps, thank you!!!!

Are the FP+ the same as the ADR's where you can book 60+ 10 days? Or every day do we go online to book the FP's?

Thank you!

If you have tickets you can "practice" outside your 60 day window. Heck, you could even book a FP+ that you have no intention of using. Even with an onsite reservation, you still need linked tickets to book FP+.

If you have multi day tickets you can book FP+ for 14 days I believe, which is as long as your ticket is good for after first use. I don't believe staying on-property give you additional time (like ADRs)...you get the 60 day window instead of 30, not 60+10 window. (I take the 180+10 day ADR window to mean on-property guests can book ADRs 190 days in advance of their stay, as opposed to off property guests who only get 180 days before reservation date).

So arrival Oct 22nd, depart 31st. 60 days before, August something, lets say 20th, I can book FP for the 22nd up to the 31st, no problems? (I have the 10 day pass)

You will be able to book all of your days at once. It is not limited to +10 like dining.

We are staying 15 nights. I could book everything at once. We are leaving early on the check-out day, so the last day I booked was for 14 days after check-in.

Yes.
I just booked random FP+ for 30 days out (since I dont have a reservation until October) and after booking the FIRST day it opened up a 14 day window. Before booking the first day, it would only let me go 30 days out, but after confirming I got 30+14. I'd imagine if you are staying on property with a verified stay you might not even need to confirm the first day since they know how long you'll be there already.

Also, I was able to get A&E 30 days out (which I will cancel, don't worry).
