Why can I book FP+ at 61 days?

I was planning, calculating, and making notes so I was prepared to be up at midnight making fp+, and went to check something and realized I could book fp+ for the first day of my trip at the MK, even though I didn't have a ticket! The other days and parks were out though.

So, I went and bought my AP, and sure enough I could book fp+ for my entire vacation! Why, and how long ago could I have started? I got everything I wanted- could have even got the elusive A&E, but still...

Pertinent info- the other members of my party already had ap, and I am staying at AoA Sept 26-Oct1.

Just curious!

Because yesterday was 60 days from September 26.

According to mde it was 61 days.

Not sure of your location, but on MDE, the time seems to switch over (usually) at 12 am ET/11 pm CT/10 pm MT/9 pm PT. So those of us not on the east coast can technically book at day 61 (albeit late in the day) on the days when the system actually updates at midnight ET. I'm in the central time zone, and I, too, was able to book on "day 61."

If you booked earlier than the times mentioned above, it may have been a glitch, which is oh so common with MDE.

You got lucky! I am also arriving on the 26th. Was online last night just before midnight, saw your post and panicked! But even after I saw your post I couldn't get on until exactly 12:00am. You got a jump on the rest of us! :)

This calculator: http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php which is usually accurate, is also showing today as 60 days from 9/26. Makes sense since there is 31 days in July and August. Probably just a glitch OP - consider yourself lucky it was a glitch in your favor!

A rare glitch in ones favor is nothing to sneeze at! Hopefully they don't all get canceled...
