Why are they receiving unreleased items?

This is starting to tick me off... why is the same person recieving unreleased items time after time? How does this person have valuable information about things that have not been released?

You know, the people who got 1 unreleased item are fine... but one person receiving 2 or more unreleased items is getting to the point of becoming ridiculous.

Life is not fair - but I wish that in a game we could keep things balanced and not have one player recieving things that may or may not ever be released - especially items that are said to come out, but then are indefinately delayed.

Regular player or community leader - nobody needs more than 1 unreleased item to show off to others. It's purely taunting the players that don't have it.

I could care less about the turnstile, honestly, but it just seems that the ones who are recieving these items are recieving them in quantities, not just one. I also understand that these people are supposedly (being the key word here) "helpful" or "nice" but that really is no excuse.

Why is it, too, that when you see yavn or any of the QA staff, these people are tagging behind?

So basically - the point of this thread is to get everyone's opinions about this... and please no flaming. The principal is the problem here, not the items.

Names are not named, so lets keep it that way. I don't want this to be closed.

Ye I thought testers got these not just people like this one CL_ tests out alot I won't name his name but he owns a unreleased pin and more unreleased stuff you all know him most likly but he and this other person who is on dis are the only people I have seen with not released items other then testers and staff

A player recently recieved one of the new, unreleased EPCOT turnstiles from the testers. This player has quite a few unreleased items, also.

Does that make any sense? I am trying to get opinions on the same person consistently recieving unreleased items from testers. Isn't it favoritism?

I'm with DaraAllen here - totally clueless. I have never seen any regular player with unreleased items or pins. I have never met Yavn (or actually seen him in the game) and I have never had a conversation with a tester. Perhaps I am hanging out in all the wrong places?

It's the fact that the same person is recieving the items each time they have to "test" it, to the point to where it's becoming purely favoritism and taunting other players.

I could go on and on about this topic, but I'm sure everything that I could say or point out would be boringly obvious.

VMK has several styles and methods to play. Some people like to hit up the credit giving games and they can be happy with that. Some people play to build rooms. Others play to have virtual boy friends and girl friends to enjoy the virtual parks with. And then.. there are those who tail staff and Yavn and make it a lifestyle.

"Taken" "Poor plz" "Come and invite".. however people play, it don't matter to me. But if someone were to say, "I'm better than you". THEN we got a problem! Nobody is better than me, and I am better than nobody. I can't help but urge folks to live by this.

I've never been more irritated in the game than the time when Yavn and one of his many dedicated followers were sitting with him in my castle room. Of course I went bonkers over Yav's presence in my room, and he replied with a simple, "Well done Ranch!". With no time passing for that very chat bubble to travel upwards, the follower had chimed in with, "Yeah I meant to tell him that yesterday".

If I were Yavn, and had to put up with such brown nosing, I'd cringe everytime to the thought of signing in. Or maybe not? Maybe I'd like it and give them extraordinary things.

I have seen a QA person playing pirates only about two times. They don't seem to act mean, or selfish, or anything.
I have, however, met people who always act rude, and think they are better than everyone else.
Just as long as you are nice, smart, and dress the way you want to dress, you are popular. I'm just saying that you are you, and those people are those people .
They can think they are popular, but that is your own point of view if you think they are better/more popular than you. Just be yourself and you won't become any of these people .

If I let these types of things in VMK bother me THIS much, I would hope
my VMK friends would do an intervention and tell me I need to take a break
from VMK.

I think that if the original poster is bothered by this much envy, he/she
should think about taking a break from VMK.

I am just trying to figure this out. also can you or anyone explain to me how this or when someone wins 10 awards or has 50 infernos lessens your experience of vmk? dont you play for YOU and not what other people have or do? very confused with your motivations to play. maybe you just play to get the most stuff and are jealous other people got stuff you dont? stll seems silly to me to be worrying what people do with their lives.

if you feel taunted its because you allowed it. i have school i come home study, eat my dinner, watch tv go on vmk and then sleep. do I have time t even care who has how many awards or pins? i have better things t worry about like that i am failing math and need a tutor. i could careless what people do because i am playing for me and my friends not worried what yavn staff or any leader does. not my business and i just dont care. that is why I often laugh when I read this rants. its like no offense but life has bigger issues.

anyway being a board mod for 3yrs you get a sense of people. You are a new user from last month, few posts, and already flaming people? These are the signs of trolling, anyway I think this could hurt peoples feelings and some are kids, teens or even eldery folks who are offended easily.
