I get that.Because its still giving you a view of the theme park...
They have never promised fireworks.
Prices are what they are. Disney is not going to lower the price. At best you'll find a room rate discount.
I get that.
But, we all know why people buy those rooms. Or at least why I would.
Maybe I'm in the minority haha.
Very fair answer.Everyone is different, but I don’t really book a TPV room for the fireworks. Frankly if I want to watch fireworks I’d rather be somewhere with good audio, and not all TPV rooms have access to quality show sound.
It’s for the ability to sit on my balcony at any time looking out over the Seven Seas Lagoon seeing the castle and other major MK icons in the distance. It’s for seeing the ferries and boats criss-cross the water all day. It’s for seeing the monorails whiz by all day. It’s for hearing the ferry horns and hearing the MK Railroad whistle when it’s operating.
Sounds a little pixie-dust induced I admit, but there is literally no other feeling like checking in to your TPV room, pulling back the curtains, and taking it all in. It is quintessential Walt Disney World/Vacation Kingdom kind of stuff.
Because people will pay it just to see the parks even if there aren't fireworksThe major benefit is being able to see the fireworks from your room.
I have a hunch your hunch is right!I have a hunch that won't happen though.
Yeah. They should give like a 10% off no fireworks discount. And then another 10% off because they are still running the water pageant. That music. I can’t sleep!!!The major benefit is being able to see the fireworks from your room.
supply vs demand
If demand drops, Disney might consider lowering the price. Until then...
