None of the 11c cabins were released on opening day for the southern Caribbean cruise in January 2018. Why would that be?

Just curious how you know they weren't released as opposed to just being sold out? I can't think of a reason they would hold back a category.

Because I'm Gold and booked as soon as they opened. They had no availability for any of the cruises from the opening. I also looked on cruise fish and there is no pricing for it.

Were you trying to book for a party of 4 on the Magic/Wonder? That caught us, they only allow 3 guests in 11C on those. Have had no problem booking 11C as gold opening day with 3 people. Also recommend waiting for the hold period to end (3 days?) and then when everyone doesn't follow through with deposit availability pops up again.

No, it was a party of 3. There is still no availability on any of those cruises.

Interesting! No clue why they would hold back some unless they needed them for additional crew or maintenance staff.

Now that I started looking, I'm not seeing any availability ever. Could they have eliminated this category after drydock?

We have sailed on an entertainment crew turnover. They put the outgoing team down in the 11Cs and let the new crew move in to their quarters.
