WHOSE Luckier than me?! The January TR!&March PTR!**LINK TO NEW TR IS UP!!**

Glad you were able to fix your sweater, you can hardly tell.
Our puppy just chewed my night time mouth guard the other night and of course we don't have dental insurance anymore and it cost $60. Other than duct taping his mouth shut what can we do.

Johnny looked cute.

WHAT no cows in Disney?

So much for the saying "GOT MILK"

I do hope all the results from the doctor turn out for the better...my prayers are with you. Stay positive.

Two great updates! Not sure how i missed the first one :confused3

i too hope the results from your tests are good ones!

love the sweater and the bag!

OMG poor Johnny! That boy can not catch a break this trip :rotfl:

Good job to DH for getting the chocolate covered pretzels! Those are definitely one of my faves too, good choice :thumbsup2

Hope you have some parade pics to share!

You really can't tell there was a hole unless you look! I'm glad I waited and let her fix it! I was tempted to try myself and I would not have done such a good job!

Bad puppy! That stinks! Why is it the chew things that either cost a lot or make a huge mess?! I told DH yesterday I think someone switched our dog with a better one! He's been completely different in the past 2 weeks! Sooooo good and such a mush!

No, no cows at WDW! LOL!!! The stupid thing was I could have got milk as a drink in Peco's Bill! DUH!

Thanks for the prayers! I know I'll be fine!

LOL! That's ok! I keep missing updates on my subscriptions too!

Thanks for the well wishes! I know everything will be fine no matter what!

He really could catch a break! Unfortunately this wasn't the last incident that involved him either :confused3 But, he just takes things in stride!

the pretzels were yummy!! Especially with the coffee! I don't have too much of a sweet tooth but chocolate covered pretzels are sooo yummy!!

I have lots of parade pictures coming up!

I feel so accomplished today!!

Since I got up this morning I cleaned the house (of course there are some small messes again), got a whole bunch of brownie stuff straightened away including planning a bowling trip while the kids are on spring break in april, called WDW and confirmed our ADR's and other ressies again because I was worried about the problems I had with platinum planning, wrote the medical consent letter for MIL and FIL in case they need to take the kids to the doctor while were gone, started the list of all the info MIL will need while we're gone, went through my stuff and figured out what I'm going to wear when on the trip and ordered 2 new shirts! Phew!! I have a lot of excited energy today!! Last night I filled out the remainder of my passporter and will post that in a different post after I finish day 6!

Day 6 part 4!

The parade started!! The funny thing was that car with the Grand Marshalls came through like 5 minutes before the actual parade started. Oh well! On with the parade!

We always love a parade! Sorry if some of the pictures have funny lighting! The sun moved while we were waiting so we ended up in the shade but the parade was in the sun!

More next post!

We were really enjoying the parade! Ryan was really, really, really enjoying the parade! Everytime someone or something he recognized passed by he would squeal and say "Ooooooo!"

At one point I leaned to far forward and he couldn't see what was coming. He reached out, pushed me back and yelled "no!" Opps! Sorry!

After the parade was over we fought the crowd to try to get to BTMRR! holy moly there were a lot of people!!! We stopped along the way to take a picture no Diser or true disney freak could pass up

Splash Mountain down for Refurb and dry! Very cool!

Then onto BTMRR! Johnny and I went on our way and left DH with Dorothy who found a kids coloring area and Ryan hanging out in the stroller.

I've never gone on BTMRR. I have riden the Runaway Train ride at Great Adventure but that was a long time ago! I was a bit affraid I must admit! But excited too! Johnny was super excited!

OMG! BTMRR is now on the top of my ride list!! We had soooo much fun! I kept trying to get Johnny to let go of the bar and put his hands up! But he wouldn't. He screamed and laughed the whole way around though!! LOL!!! Sooooo much fun!!!!!

After BTMRR Ryan needed a baby kind of bathroom break. The smelly kind, sorry TMI. He's awfully cute but can create on heck of a stink! YIKES!

After the hazardous waste had been removed it was a bit after 4 and we decided we'd better think about heading out of MK!

Our Chef Mickey ADR was for 5:05 that evening and I wanted to make sure we got in early. I had it set so we could eat and head back to MK for Spectro and Wishes!

We got to the front of MK quickily and without having any crowd problems! We hopped the Monorail for the Contemporary!

We arrived quickly and very early. So of course we did a little shopping! My kiddos have always really like Fantasia (I think that's what it's called) the one shop at the Contemporary so we went in there and they picked out a few things, again paying with their own money! Have I mentioned how proud I am of them for saving over $700 each!! ALLLLLL their birthday, holiday, tooth fairy money, allowances, on top of what was left from the money they saved for last trip!

After we paided I wanted to go into the other store real quick. I foundthe shirt I wanted!!!! I saw a shirt in the World of Disney in the airport when we were walking by that I loved! It's black and has Walt Disney World written in rhinestones! I was sooo happy! I had been keeping an eye out for it and hadn't seen it anywhere! Yippeee!!!

After I paid for my shirt we headed over to Chef Mickey's to check in!!!

It was shortly before 5. Chef Mickey's opens for dinner at 5 and our ADR was for 5:05!

We waited a few minutes before they started checking people in. There were 2 bigger groups in front of us and then it was our turn!

The very nice CM at the counter told us she was glad we were here! We said were glad to be there too because Chef Mickey is one of our favorite places at WDW!

She looked at Dorothy and Johnny and told Mickey needed someone to help him open up the restaurant for the night and asked if they would like to help! Their eyes got wide, I'm sure mine did too, and the speechlessly shock their heads yes!

She told me to go over and have our picture taken and then go over to the couch were you can wait and look for the CM with the microphone!

Okey Dokey!

Our family Chef Mickey picture

After our picture we went to the couch and I spoke to the CM with the microphone! She took Dorothy and Johnny's names and explained to them what was going to happen and what they were going to do!

I'm going to let the pictures do a lot of the talking from here on especially because we got our very own photopass photographer for this special event who ran around like crazy, just like me, and snapped dozens of pictures! Thanks Renee!!! She was wonderful!

The CM announce that Chef Mickey's was proud to have Dorothy and John from NY open up for the restaurant for the night! (she said it better then that)

Then everyone counted down from 10 ....

And they got to drop the rope!!!

Then...

Mickey came out!

Mickey took the kids by the hand and lead them to our table!

He posed with them!

Dorothy and Johnny got to sign Mickey's Autograph Book!!! How cool is that?!

WOW!!!!! It was such magical experience!!! Mickey spent a good 10 minutes with us! Fussing over the kiddos, tickling Ryan, kissing him!!! It was awesome!! I got choked up and so did DH! I still can't believe it!!! WOW!!!

After all the excitement opening Chef Mickey's was over we sat down took a deep breath and ordered our drinks! Then it was time to get some dinner!

Along the way we were visited by all our favorite friends!

Mickey came back for another visit!

I think Pluto might have scared Ryan a little because he popped him on the nose!

Poor Pluto!

Goofy kissing Ryan on the head!

After we saw all the characters we enjoyed some dessert! The kids love the make your own ice cream bar!!

Then it was time to head to MK for Spectro and Wishes!!

More to come soon!!!!

We took the monorail back to MK and went in quickly. It was already starting to get dark and spectro would be starting soon! We took a seat right across from the train station on the inside of the circle, if that makes sense.

The kids had a grand time jumping rope with the CM's who were there to keep the kids busy! They even got little cards that say "I jumped rope at the Magic Kingdom!"

DH amused himself talking to a gentleman who was sitting next to us. Again, he talked sports :confused3

Soon it was time for spectro!!! I'm terribly sorry but I didn't get to take pictures because I was holding Ryan!! Like I said before, DH can't take a good picture to save his life!

We were very excited to see all of spectro, start to finish, and see it from a good seat! It's beautiful!!!

After spectro we stood for a few minutes discussing moving for Wishes. But we realized we were a little tired and had an early breakfast ADR the next morning. So we headed back to WL!

We got there quickly and easily via the boat and headed up to our room to rest!

Don't ask me why the man is drinking a beer and reading the bible! It has to be some sort of sin! But I couldn't resist taking a picture! :lmao:

Then it was off to bed for a magical sleep and early wakeup call!!!

Holy crap Melissa you're busy today. All that stuff you did this morning PLUS a MASSIVE update! WoW!!! i'm in awe of your energy.

That is SO COOL that the kids got to open Chef Mickey's! What an awesome thing to get to do, all that time with Mickey... wow! Super fun, those memories will stay with them forEVER.

OMG Melissa that is so cool that your kids got to open Chef Mickey's! The looks on their faces are just priceless, Dorothy is smiling from ear to ear in every single one! Wow, what a magical moment for them and for you and your DH :wizard:

That picture of your DH reading the Bible and drinking the beer made me :lmao: Too funny!

LOL! I was pretty busy! I got up early and had all sort of excited energy! I've learned by now when I get like that I have to keep busy! Otherwise I'll go crazy and get cranky!

Opening Chef Mickey was soooo much fun! I have so many pictures! I'm not anywhere near close to those pages in my scrapbook but I already have it planned out in my head!

It was so amazing! Dorothy just giggled the whole time! They were completel shocked and totally immersed in the whole experience! I think that may have been one of the reasons we were tired after spectro!

I'm still not sure why he was reading the bible and drinking a beer! In the 15 years I've known him I've never seen him touch a bible expect for in church and him goin to church is rare!

Thanks for the parade pics, we missd the parade this year.
That is so neat that your children opened chef mickeys, I have never heard of that before. That
is really cool you had your own photopass CM!
I dont think it is a sin, but sure is funny!:lmao:

Goodness you had a productive day yesterday. Mine was just busy not productive, well I guess it would be productive too, but man woman you rocked it yesterday with a GREAT update to boot.

Geez you all had a very magical trip even despite the few incidences like the ketchup and having a hard time finding milk. But Johnny getting to do the pirate thing and then both kiddos getting to open Chef Mickeys. WOW! That looked like a really neat experience. And all that fun time with Mickey. I bet your kids were just tickled. :-)

Can't wait to read about the update about your next trip and then the rest of this trip. :)

Melissa....are you sure that isn't a picture of my DH with the good book and beer.

I can't say it enough I am loving your TR and pictures.
It is so neat that the kiddies got to do rope drop. And again Ryan is so cute-SMELLY but cute and the picture with Goofy kissing his head is priceless.

When you run out of things to clean at your house you can come to mine..it has been so long since I have been able to clean mine I'm beginning to think it would be easier to just move. And I am a little(LOT) anal about a clean house so it is mentally getting me down.

Melissa.....where are you???

I need your TR and pictures to get me through the day.

I'M HERE!!! I'M BACK ACTUALLY!!!

DH broke the internet! No joke! Who knew you could break the internet! But, DH did! We had no connection :headache: The thing was he was having problems on his computer and tried to fix it. When DH tries to fix something computer related I always have to re-fix it. I couldn't fix it! So we called in the boss! DH's Dad! He couldn't fix it either! Oh my! Our wireless network was gone! Our router was old anyway so I had to go out and buy a new one and set the network up again. It was a lot easier this time then 4 or 5 years ago when I originally set it up and I was on the phone it India at 11:30 at night on Mothers Day! LOL!!!

Thanks for the parade pics, we missd the parade this year.

We really enjoy that parade! Especially now that DHS has Block Party Bash :sad2: We really don't like that parade! We liked Stars and Motor Cars!

We had a blast opening Chef Mickeys! It was so much fun! It's definitely a memory we'll never forget!

LOL!! I told DH I'm going to blow that picture up and frame it! Maybe I'll give it to the very conservative nun whose in charge of DD's religions class and thinks I'm a sinner because I was raised Methodist not Catholic!

Goodness you had a productive day yesterday. Mine was just busy not productive, well I guess it would be productive too, but man woman you rocked it yesterday with a GREAT update to boot.

We definitely did have a magical time!! We've learned by now to let the little set backs roll off our backs whether at WDW or home!

Aww thanks! There's a lot more to come!

LOL!!! My girlfriend thought it looked like Goofy was eating his head!

Unfortunately I'll never, ever run out of things to clean! I swear as soon I finish cleaning one room and move onto the next room there's a mess in the room before! UGH! With 3 kids, a dog and DH the work is never done!

Good morning everyone! I thought I'd give you a small update before I got started with my day!

I'm sitting here dressed with a head of wet, gelled hair and my cup of coffee, in a 2009 disney mug of course!

DD has religion this morning and then her and I and one of her friends are goin to see The Jonas Brothers 3D movie. Yippeee ;)

Anyway, Day 7 part 1

This morning I learned a valuable lesson. A lesson I'm not sure why I haven't learned in the past. Maybe I did learn it but forgot, I won't forget again!

My family and early breakfast ADR's don't mix!

It's way to stressful to get everyone up and out!

We had an 8:20 am breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace! I was look forward to this one a lot! We've always had a meal at Crystal Palace! Our first 2 trips it was dinner, last March it was lunch the day we left. Today we were giving breakfast a try!

Once we finally got up and out and I was in need of some serious Xanax we took the boat to the contemporary, went up and took the monorail to MK. The boat from WL to MK doesn't run that early. Ughh!

Here I'm going to tell you something I forgot way back the morning of the day before!

When DD and I were on the boat going from WL to MK for our girls only EMH morning we daw hot air balloons in the distance kind of over Poly!! Soooooo pretty!!

This morning while on the Monorail we could see even more rising up from somewhere in the distance past Poly and GF!! Again absolutely beautiful! So peaceful and graceful just floating there!!! I wish I could have got a picture but they were far away! I was hoping the Mickey shaped one would show up but no luck.

Once we finally got to MK we breezed in and head up Main Street stopping to take the empty (almost) Main Street picture.

see those 2 ladies in the middle in the khaki capris and blue shirts? They were some sort of Disney Officials looking at different things along the way and making notes! Neat! We saw them again after breakfast!

We headed to CP and checked in! We waited a few minutes and I took this picture, which I love!

It's very peaceful but kind of say WDW to me! The castle, a plam tree and strollers!

Then we were welcome by Pooh and Friends and had breakfast!

Up next Pooh's French Toast, a spin and oh no! Is trip going to go horribly wrong?! ;)

We're back from Jonas Brothers 3D. I have to admit I thought it was good! :rolleyes1

My name is Melissa and I need a new life...

Anyway,

Day 7, Part 2

We went into CP and ordered our drinks! I was definitely in need of coffee even if it was Nescafe

Then we took our turns at the buffet. DH went first with the big kiddos and I waited at the table with the very, very excited little kiddo who was pointing at the characters on the other side of th room and the topiarys going "POOH! POOH!!"

DH and the big kiddos returned and it was my turn!

Off the buffet I went!

I must say, as I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, we're not big breakfast eaters. I got some fruit and bagel for Ryan and I to share and scrambled eggs and bacon. I went to go back to the table and spied something on the kids buffet that was calling my name. "Pooh's French Toast" I love french toast and I love Pooh, this was bound to be good!!!!

Back to the table I went and enjoyed this yummy goodness! It was like fried dough (not bread) that had been sprinkled with cinnamon sugar!! Yum, yum, yum and one more yum!!!

Along the way the characters came by to visit!

Ryan laughing because he was so excited to see POOH!!!

Kissing Pooh and saying "I love you Pooh!!"

Saying "Ok Pooh, I'm done with you! I see Tigger across the room!" (the plate in the shot is DH's NOT mine ;) )

I missed Eeyore because I was in the restroom and Tigger never came to our table :confused3 Thankfully the very nice character handler CM got Tigger to come over and see us before we left!

Ryan trying to kiss Tigger :lovestruc

Our original plan was to head right out of MK and go to Epcot. But, DH decided he wanted to spin with Buzz again.

So we headed that way. We stopped along the way to have a photopass picture taken.

Don't we look lovely all squinty eyed cause the sun was right in our eyes ;) ?

Then it was off for our spin! We walked right on and had a great time as usual!

Then it was time to headout of MK the only thing was that I realized while on Buzz that I didn't have my fleece. DD had been using it at CP and must have left it. So we headed toward CP again.

Somewhere around the Tomorrowland side of Main Street I started to feel not so good and told DH I needed a bathroom and fast!

We headed across Main Street headed toward the bathrooms between Casey's and CP.

When we got right behind Casey's DD and DH both decided to step in each others path and collided! Yikes! DD went down, hard!!! I was still in desperate need of a ladies room but stopped and picked her up, brushed her off and made sure nothing was broken or bleeding. She was fine although acting like Daddy was now Hitler or something.

So I ran to the ladies room!!

Oh my! Just thinking about was happened next makes me quesy!!

I got sick!! Very, very sick!! Holy cow!!

I must have been in that bathroom for 20 minutes! When I was finally done and splashed my face with about 3 gallons of cold water I left the bathroom.

The second DH saw me he knew something was wrong!

I told him and oh wise man that DH is said that either the 4th mouseketeer was on its way (NOT FUNNY), I got the plague everyone else had before christmas (also NOT FUNNY) or it was something I ate.

DH suggested I go back to the room and rest because as he said "You don't look good" I told him no way!!! He went to CP and got my fleece while I sat on a bench and then we were on our way out to Epcot!!

Your a trooper, even the plague won't stop you from visiting the parks. I was laughing when I read this report .....was thinking what a detailed trip report, we even get bathroom breaks! Hoping in your next report your "uneasiness" quickly passed! I can't wait to go to CP. We have a lunch and dinner reservation there. My son loves Pooh.

Hey Melissa!! It has taken me about a week but I have read all of your PTR and now your TR and I have to say you are a fantastic writer and I have enjoyed every minute of reliving your trip with you and your family!!

I'm excited to read all about your trip with your hubby that is also coming up!!!

I'm sorry you got sick at MK, hope you started to feel better on the way EPCOT!

Can't wait for more!
