I know, I know... it's not even summer yet and I'm talking about Christmas :lmao:

But in my defense, my trip isn't until NOVEMBER :scared1: So whose going? What date? Is this your 1st time?

We've done the Halloween party but due to the kids schedule we couldn't book our next trip until the end of November so I figured we'd check out that party too! I'm excited to see WDW and the other parks decorated for the holidays :hyper: I bought tickets for November 20th.... kids don't know about the party.

We're going to the party on December 5th! We'll be on the Dream for 4 nights. When the kiddos are all sad because we have to fly home after the cruise, we're surprising them with one more Disney night and MVMCP tickets. It will be our first time at Christmas, too. Can't wait!

My sister and I are going on 11/14. It will be the second time we do the Christmas Party. We went last year when we were visiting family in Sarasota. We drove from Sarasota to MK for the party, drove back to Sarasota that night, and the next morning we were on our flight back to Massachusetts...and I was saying that I wanted to do it again.

We are going Dec 2nd and we are very excited. We went this past Dec and LOVED it!! It is sooooo much fun and so worth the price of the tickets!! :)

<-- What part of MA are you from? We're going to be in WDW at the same time :thumbsup2

I'm also going down but the day after (11/15) and from south shore MA. Small world. It'll be my first time going to MVMCP - I can't wait!

I have a question for the those that have been to the party. We will be there 12/19 - 12/29. We will have the opportunity to go to the party, but is it worth it when it's over and all the Christmas parades and themes are incorporated into the normal shows closer to Christmas? Would I just be paying for cookies?

We're hoping to go too.

Does anyone know when they're taping the Christmas Day parade? I kind of want to AVOID being there that day as I heard it's a nightmare.

Unlike the Halloween party, the Christmas fireworks and parade (and Santa and Main Street snow) are there for regualar day visitors the week before Christmas, so the party would just provide you with the rare character visits (the princes, the dwarfs, Jane and Tarzan, etc) and yes, the cookies. The parties used to be great for lesser crowds on rides and such, but that close to Christmas, I think the party will be sold out most nights, so you will have some crowd issues. The ride lines should still be shorter than the daytime, but not substantially.

I would say it's a personal choice whether you want that extra dose of holiday cheer that the Christmas party provides for the extra cost. To me, the Halloween party is better for 'exclusive' entertainment. :)

We'll be the first week of December... Not sure which night we're going yet... I'm getting AP's in August, and want to wait to get the tickets so I can get the AP discount.
