Mudman, Why did you have to change resorts? We called this morning and got the free upgrade for Pop! We love Pop, just wanted to let you know we got it, if you wanted to stay at Pop. Maybe they were all gone. Man that was quick.

Hi!! Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for posting this!! I was able to call and get the upgrades!! We, too, are staying at pop! (4/26-5/2!! ) My cm didn't know the codes (I guess since it's early) so I was glad I had them on hand to give to her. (She even had to call her supervisor to make sure she could apply it so my existing reservation.) It saved us $135 and my parents $90. Hey...every little bit counts, right? That's my kids' souvie money!!

Pop was all gone for my dates. We switched to All Star Music instead. I guess because all I had was a room only it wasn't an easy change?

It really is fine with me. We stayed at Pop two years ago and the kids want a change. We got a prefferred room at All Star Music and I had a standard at Pop with AAA.

It really was almost a wash in savings since I am now am paying for prefferred, lost the AAA room discount but we LOVE the water parks! The kids want to visit both of them and we never afforded ourselves the luxery of hopping or two water park visits.

So it should be worth it. We have a few more perks and are paying a bit less than ala carte.

I do have to say that the CM was not friendly or helpful. When I asked about the discount she curtly told me that she can't help me if I didn't give her the code.

I would have to move from POP to ASMovies and then I would only save $7 from the AAA discount and since I bought the Florida 4 days special tx's they couldn't upgrade them for me. I really have to say that I was hoping for a better deal. Glad to hear that it is working out for some of you.

Code can not be applied to ticket purchases only however it can be applied to all packages at any Disney resort (usually excluding suites).

I'm on hold now... My trip is booked thru Disney - 7 days @ CSR, MYW + DDP & PH. I have no AP or Visa, do I need a code or will the CM be able to find it or me?? Assuming my call gets taken in the next 2 hours.

Thanks for the info. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes I talked to a CM and the discount didn't apply to my 2 night trip - but would apply for 3 nights. She couldn't give me PoP, but Allstar - Music was was available. I would have taken it if I could have because the discount would have been $202, which included a park ticket upgrade. It would have only cost us $65 more to add the extra night (and extra day of DDP credits for two people) but it doesn't work for us since we only have a short window we can be gone.

I have WL Courtyard View booked. I'm going to try and switch though, so we'll see how it goes. I honestly don't know why I book the deluxe resorts, I always switch back to moderates.

I'm in and was able to use the discount - I saved about $140 off the pkg. I had priced with AAA and got Water Parks thrown in for free - we didn't have WP only PH on our AAA pkg. We are checking in on the 21st (the last day of the discount code) but were able to get a 10 day ticket with the free upgrade - I wasn't sure if they would do that. Anyways I'm happy to get a little discount - already thinking about what I'm going to buy at Disney with my $140 - at our house a penny saved is a penny spent at Disney!
