snow?:) We rarely get snow in my area. When we do we either have just mush or a blizzard! I want to make a snowman.:) All the snowmen I've ever tried to make ended up looking like muddy stick men instead of snowmen. LOL!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.;)

No snow, no thank you. It gets toooooo cold out there. I'm perfectly willing to wait a few months.

i would love for it to snow once in san diego!! last year it hailed really hard one night and it looked like snow, and we made little icemen, it was fun!

Laurie, I've got a friend that's from Indianapolis, she misses the snow now that she lives in Georgia.:) She lives on top of one of the mountains here, and she gets more snow than I do (I live in the valley), but she kinda misses the cooler weather and the better snows.:)

You just bite your tongue young lady (no reference to an earlier thread :teeth: :earseek: )

OK, when it snows up here we'll trade places. You can have the snow, I'll take the muddy mush. :Pinkbounc

Sounds like a deal to me Marilyn.:) How, um, windy is the windy city in the winter? (and I bit my tongue last week when my mouth was numb, I don't want to do that again;) )

Maggie, did you take pics of your ice men?:)

Sherry, you'd hate my snow. It's pitiful looking.:(

When I lived in Georgia it snowed 1/2 inch, and everyone panicked. It was crazy. It only happened once while I was there, but it was so funny watching people go nuts.

Never go to the grocery store if there's even a hint of a mention of snow in Georgia. Old ladies (close to 100 yo) will knock you out of their way to get to the bread and milk. It's one of the few times you'll see the store packed with men, too.:teeth:

Um, not really, we get way too much of it! I like it for like the first couple of days it snows, then it can go away, but it never does...lol

Just to prepare you for when we trade places....when I am walking up-hill next to the Sears Tower, it feels like someone is pushing me backwards. When the snow hits your face, it actually hurts. When the buses and cars pass you, you get splashed with dirty slush. (Are we having fun yet? :teeth:  )

DH and I get home from working all day and have to spend an hour or more shoveling snow from the driveway and sidewalk.

It's like driving on an ice skating rink at time.

Other than that, I LOVE winter and snow!:Pinkbounc

(Now you know why I bought the TANK) lol

We built a snow dog once in our front yard. It was about 10 feet high.

I filled the squirt guns with water and food coloring and we painted it. Made it a collar with jewels and everything.

The water would freeze and the girls found gems for a week. :)

I just figured it was so I could call you Tank girl.;)

My SO really pushed for me to get a 4 x 4 when I got my truck because "you might want to drive when it's snowing, you'll be safer". He's got a 4 x 4, I could always have driven it if I chose to.;) He's anxiously awaiting a blizzard so he can lose my truck in the snow.:p

Laurie, that sounds neat about the water coloring.:) It rarely gets that cold here to do that though.

I would LOVE some...we never get any here...just hail once every couple years, and that is a cause for celebration. :)

I hate snow, I hate cold, I think that I am allergic to them both, seriously!

We had measurable snow this past January 2-3 for the first time in seven or eight years. (I live a couple of hours south of browneyes.) Yes, I'd love to have snow again this year!

Just imagining being outside on a still winter night with big soft flakes falling all around.......... ahhhhhhhhhhh

Chip, I love the mental image! :)
