We're staying a few extra days but not going to Disney. We're going to Universal cause our kids LOVE thrill rides. They're very excited but I wonder if they'll have the energy to really enjoy it.

My daughters, Molli (7) and Emma (3) and I made reservations last week. My sister, Becki and my Mom, Mary Jane will be sailing with us too!

This will be our First Western cruise but our THIRD cruise on the Magic.

We were originally planning on cruising next Summer but since the Magic is heading to the Med we decided to go this Summer instead.

We cannot wait! We are not telling Molli and Emma until we get there. They have been asking to go back on another Mickey Cruise since we got back last April!

See you all soon.

Mom to Molli :cheer2: and Emma :cheer2:

That's awesome!!!! :thumbsup2

I have to book mini-trips to here, there and yonder to get me through until June. ;)

So, what excursions are everyone planning? Here are ours (to date at least :teeth: ) :

Key West: No idea :) Think we may end up doing one of the JetSki tours, but haven't booked anything yet.

Grand Cayman: Stingray City and Barrier Reef snorkeling and Turtle Farm / Hell tour, all through Captain Marvin's.

Cozumel: Dolphin Discovery through Disney

Castaway Cay: Whatever the stingray thing is called :teeth:

Just a few weeks left and we can't wait!!!

Here's what our crew is doing:

Key West - Conch Train tour on our own. Shopping and last, but not least my very own pub crawl. :smooth:

Grand Cayman - Sting Ray & Island Tour through Disney.
*I was a bit worried to go through a private operator since it's our first cruise.

Cozumel - Booked an all inclusive resort for the day. San Francisco Beach Break @ PLAYA SAN FRANCISCO BEACH CLUB. I thought if it wasn't where I wanted to be I'll just go shopping and head back to the boat to enjoy their pools.

CC - Parasailing (just me, myself & I...and I believe one other Diser here, too). We're doing rental equipment plus DH & I are doing the couples cabana massage.

I'm excited! :woohoo:

Me being the total ghost buff that I am, I have planned my own little ghost tour on my own for Key West, starting at Captain Tony's Salloon. I don't know what everyone else in my party is doing on Key West. I heard them say something about the Bacardi Factory and chocolate covered Key Lime pie on a stick. :lmao:

In Grand Cayman we're doing one of the island tours... I can't remember which one.

In Cozumel we are doing the horseback riding.

In Castaway Cay we are doing the kayak tour and me and my grandfather are doing parasailing! :cool1:

Hi everyone!
Here's what we're doing...

Arriving Friday at 6pm, staying at the Hyatt :yay:

Key West- It's our 3rd time there. We'll probably just walk around a bit.
Grand Caymen-speedboat excursion through Shoretrips.
Cozumel-Originally booked dolphin swim through shoretrips, but will
most likely cancel since it is now being done on the
mainland since the hurricane. Booked the fury catamaran
through DCL as a backup plan.
Castaway Cay- Boys are parasailing.

Okay, who started packing? I did!! Just packing the toiletries for now.

Judy

Well for our crew

Key West - Just walking around , Southern most point maybe some shopping

Grand Cayman - Stringray and Island tour with Nativeway(Stringrays, Turtles , Hell , and the Rum Factory ) Where has all the rum gone? Why is all the Rum gone ?

Cozumel (our second home) Heading over to Nachi Cocoam - Then probably over to Bob Marleys - Over to Coconuts(east side of the island) and then an early dinner at Casa Denis , all with friends of ours who reside on the island ...

Castaway Cay - Dont know yet ...lol

magicalfam5 - Packing already? Really? I'm terrible in that department. I pack the night before if I get ahead of myself or I get up at 5 a.m. the morning of to do it. I work well under pressure and it builds excitement. Have I ever left anything behind? Certainly, but it's only been minor things and easily replaced. Most important are tickets, money and clean underwear. All else is piece of cake.

But where has all the rum gone? :rotfl2: :drinking1 pirate:

We did it last year and it was absouletly perfect, they take care of your bags and MCO is more like a mall than an airport!!

First off - Judy - you're putting me to shame. Packing already? :confused3 Oh my gosh, I had no idea I was behind in my planning :rolleyes1

As far as "where has all the rum gone? Why is all the rum gone?" The rum has been delivered to my stateroom to share with all my cruise meet buddies. :rotfl2:

It's getting closer... :cheer2:

Yes, I know, I'm pretty pathetic packing already. My 2 sons think I'm crazy. My DD is right along with me! My DH doesn't say much. He's used to it. Shoretrips called me today to cancel my dolphin swim (I knew that would happen). That's why I booked the fury catamaran.

Judy

Magicalfam5 - That's okay. It's like the commercial - I'm too excited to sleep. Why else would I be posting at this late hour? 6 more weeks! :woohoo: I'm flying out Thursday evening now instead of mid-day Friday. See, who's the crazy one here? We're going to stay at the Hyatt then hit Ron Jon's resort Friday so we can enjoy some swimming, mini-golf and of course hanging out the beach. I always seem to keep adding days onto my vacation when it comes to going to Disney.

*imomtojd - I'm not stalking you. I'm just following the rum.* ;)

Yeah - Scratching that Ron Jon Caribe resort plan. We're going to Disney World first.

we see there is only about 46 days to go does anyone know when we will start to recieve our cruise documents like everyone else we too are making a list of things to pack so we do not have last minuite rushes. Mike

Just found this board. My family is on the 6/17/06 Western cruise. This is our first cruise. Family is me and wife (40-something), son (16), and daughter (10). We'll be part of a much larger group that includes my wife's parents, her 2 brothers, and brothers' spouses and kids (14 in all). We've been counting down the days now for 5 months (since we returned from WDW in December).

We are flying down the day before to meet the rest of the family coming in from different places, and staying overnight at the airport Hyatt. We've booked a Palo's dinner and a few excursions, but missed out on some stuff because we didn't realize it would go so fast. Hoping to get a Palo's brunch too.

Can't wait!!!!
