Our cruise is finally paid off. It seems like we have been paying on it forever. I am so so excited. We registered our daughter for the kids clubs, spa treatments and a few excursions. Does anyone know if the cruise is going to Cozumel or Costa Maya?

"Does anyone know if the cruise is going to Cozumel or Costa Maya?"

:thumbsup2 Doesn't it feel great to pay it off? It's real now.

From what I gather, we're going to Cozumel. Of course, it could change at any time.

Counting down the days...

We're booked for the June 17th cruise as well, celebrating our 10th anniversary. 'Course, I feel like we're going to be down in the cargo hold with the rest of the poor folk with all this talk of suites. :teeth: We're in 5622 (I think...DW made most of the arrangements), and it'll be DW, myself, and DD (5). We've got excursions booked for Cozumel (Dolphin Encounter) and CC (the stingray swim or whatever it is). Looking at a couple things on shoretrips.com for Key West and Grand Cayman.

Anyway...just wanted to say  to my fellow Dis cruisers. It'll be here before we know it :thumbsup2

:yay: Glad you could join us. I'm Lisa, DH Mark, and DS's Jess 15 and Dylan 8. We're in cabin 6508 (lowbrow poorfolk, just like you :rotfl: ) We can't wait to meet everyone.

Lisa

Hey, did you do the Island Tour with your stingray swim? If you did, we'll be in that group. :goodvibes

Ya'll aren't in the cargo hold at all. It doesn't matter what category you are in. Just as long as you get to do, right? :thumbsup2

I hope I get a chance to see some of you folks on this cruise. ::yes::

BTW, CONGRATS to those celebrating anniversaries! :Pinkbounc

Hey, Annemator, did you get your cap and gown yet? My SIL just got hers this week. :cool1: Now she just needs to get the material for her other aunt to make her dress. Countdown time for you two!!!!!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you know what just happened to my excursions. I booked parasailing at 90 days out, and printed out a confirmation. I was reading about you guys booking parasailing and went online to check the time, and they had NOTHING reserved for me!! I called DCL and they verified that nothing was booked (even though I had a confirmation #) and had to re-book it. Luckily it was still available. By the way, my DH and 2 DS are going at 10:30 with VAgal. They did it on our first cruise and loved it. I'm too chicken to try it. All my other excursions are booked through Shoretrips.

Welcome to all the new cruisers.

Hey Lisa, how's the vision? I have my final year exam in August. I just love it.

Judy - Don't be scared to try! I've never done it, but am going to take the bull by the horns. It won't be that long of a "flight" and I'm sure it's quite peaceful yet thrilling. I'm so happy to know some Diser's will be there...not to mention they do reel you from the boat so I won't be aired on AFV flopping down face first into sand then into water during take off. :teeth:

I'm the one in the middle, but my hair is quite a bit longer now. Now you know who to watch for. ;)

we will be doing the banana boat on castaway cay on our first cruise our oldest son leaned out in stead of in and dumped all 8 of us into the water not sure what other excursions we will be doing we havent booked any yet we made our final payment now we are paid in full

Hi all - just wanted some pixie dust thrown our way - we can finally book Palo and excursions tonight. We're only looking at two, the Fury teen trip for DS and the regular Fury trip for our 8 yr. old and us. We've chosen several nights that Palo would work so hopefully we'll get one of them.

Hi Judy, I haven't checked this thread in a while since I've gotten e-mails of new posts. I love my vision. I wasn't sure if I needed a tweak, so I got a second opinion from an opthomologist I really trust. She told me that I didn't want to mess with it. Although I can't see "clearly" far away, she said if I was adjusted further I'd definately need reading glasses all the time, and right now I don't need them at all. I'm very happy and don't have any regrets. Do you need glasses for anything or can you see clearly enough to do totally without?

Can't wait to meet everyone.

Oh, my! Alrighty, you've paid your dues so I'll leave you alone. Promise.

Lisa - Sending you some PD :wizard: pixiedust: that you'll be able to get the Palo ressies and excursions you want. In fact, I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for you. ;)

So are we having an official DIS meet onboard? What time are ya'll planning to get to port? I'm thinking early. :smooth:

vagal76 your photo failed to open. we would be interested in meeting everyone too. we are staying at the pofq the night befor the cruise were not sure what time we will be heading over to port canaveral we watched the disney wonder go by on the two palms cam this evening.

Hi,

Just registered tonight. I've been reading the posts on this forum and taking notes on what to bring. Wonderful info.

There will be 3 of us going: Me, DH, and DD-8. We're on deck 6. Really looking forward to this trip. We're DVC members and 2nd time Disney cruisers. Last cruise was Jan 2001. :goodvibes

We'll be arriving the night before and driving to Port C in the am with my parents who live in FL.

Thanks for starting this board/thread.

We are willing to host a meet and greet DIS party in the Walt Disney Suite , we would just need to know when ? How many people and so forth , we can probably get some finger food catered to the room , as I have heard they will do this ..

Definately. We're arriving the night before so we plan to be at port relatively early.

VAgal76 - thanks for the pixie dust. I'll post tomorrow with (hopefully) our good news.

Vicki - glad you're joining us.

Todd - that would be so cool :thumbsup2 We'd love to do a meet and greet in your suite.

Well its really not "our" suite ..lol were just borrowing it for a week ...But yes , my wife and I and our 2 DS's would host a meet and greet - Again we would need to know what time , I am assuming that we would want to do this the first day ? Before the Fire drill ? and someone if they could put a list together of all the DIS members that are going and would show up to the meet and greet . I would have to call DCL prior to the cruise to let them know how many people to provide finger foods for and so forth and to see if we can get it that early into the cruise . We will be in WDW for a few days prior to the cruise staying on the PORS and actually taking the DCL bus over to the port , so I am assuming we will arrive at the port about 1ish , grab something to eat real quick and head to our room ...

Just let me know what you great people want me to do
Todd

Thanks Todd, that's very generous. Does anyone know what time the fire drill occurs? I would think meeting before would work well. I'll be glad to make a list of all that would attend.

So, fellow cruisers - please post or PM (click imomtojd and send message) to let us know if you plan to come to the meet and greet. List your names and your kids' names and ages.

I'll start the list with the Stahl's who are hosting our get-together:

Todd, Melissa, Dylan (14), and Destin (5) Stahl
Mark, Lisa, Jess (15), and Dylan (8) Lawrence

 Lisa

Well, phooey! It worked in preview but not in the actual post. Well, here's a link to my albums at webshots then.

Todd - That is awfully generous of you. I don't know if my husband and son would participate (they are little cautious when meeting people from online - I obviously have no fear), but I'd definitely be interested in joining a DIS meet Saturday afternoon. :thumbsup2 So count at least one in from my group for it.

I've never cruised before so I can't really be a big help on the timing of the munster drill. Todd could ask concierge to help with time setting as they know when the munster drill will be. Good plan?

I am at Ron Jon's the night before and plan to be at port by 11 a.m. Anyone else staying at RJ's or going early in the morning? :teeth:

Anyone got that big, red sharpie marker out yet? :woohoo:
