Who's on the 6-17-06? ... i know im not the only 1 already countin down!!

Hi! We will be there! Family of four - DH and I (mid-thirties) DD 8 and DS 4!!

Our first cruise so I'm trying to learn the planning basics! Can't wait to go!

Hi all - there will be several 8 yr. olds on the cruise - my DS will have lots of girlfriend opportunities LOL. :rotfl2: Hope more cruisers start checking out this site. Has anyone checked out the prices lately. We're a category 8 which are no longer available (at least on the site), but cat. 9's are 1100 more than we paid. Wow. Take care all. Lisa

I guess my DD will be the older woman. :rotfl2: She will be a few months shy of being 10 when we cruise.

Ok, I just booked this cruise for our family of three. It's our first cruise ever! :thumbsup2

WELCOME ABOARD! Who do you have sailing with you??

Ooops! Still learning the ropes. :teeth:

Myself 29; DH 29 & DS 10 (well, he will be 10 by the time we cruise that is).

Very cool. I have a sister who will be just shy of 9 when we cruise. Seems there are a lot of kids her age. :)

DS was excited to hear he would be grouped with the 10-12 year olds. No offense to your niece as he's technically still in that age bracket right now! The biggest problem we have is that he thinks girls still have cooties. Funny thing is that the girls tend to chase him around. I'm sure this is going to be changing very soon so I'm going to hold onto it while I still can. :teeth: He definitely is looking forward to having a crowd to hang out with on this cruise. ::yes:: He was a bit anxious as we really don't know what cruising is like yet.

OMG you all will LOVE it! I could yap your ear off talking about how much fun we all have! This will be my familys 3rd cruise.

I've yet to hear anyone hating a cruise period. 90% or more of the time DCL gets high praises. I can't wait! :hyper:

They really announce your name as you're getting onboard? :smooth:

Glad that you're joining us VAgal76! If I counted correctly, we sail in 16 weeks. That sounds better than 112 days. Have a good weekend everyone.

Judy

ITA - 12 weeks DOES sound better! :cool1: I've got the official guide and am ordering the Passporter plus reading the boards every chance I get. I want to try familiarize with deck plans and what kind of activities they offer before setting sail. I don't want to be that newbie that wanders around the ship aimlessly and constantly having to ask for directions or what is forward/aft/starboard/port. :teeth: Plus, it would make for a better experience. :thumbsup2

Shawna - I'm so sorry your BIL's family decided not to go. :( It would've been nice to have the whole gang together.
