Who's missing hockey?

We miss hockey so much. Fox Sports Net has been playing some of the older 'Canes games, in fact one comes on tonight. Plus my son has all these "hockey fights" tapes that he buys off E-Bay.

Well, I'm a huge hockey fan but never have focused much attention on the NHL. We live right next to an AHL city. The arena is 20-30 minutes from my house, so life is good. And we're not that far from UNH, and one of the best college hockey rivalries in the country. I actually am very seriously considering UNH for next year, so chances are good that the NHL will continue to not matter too much to me. Frankly, the AHL and college teams have better, more fun hockey, and cheaper seats.
And my stepsister plays for the girls travel team here, and my cousin is goalie for one of the best travel teams in the state. So I'm still living in a hockey world, even without the NHL.

Hockey East is the greatest, even if we were in the ::ahem:: basement last year.

Hopefully my boys will pull through. We beat Michigan, that's gotta mean something right?

I miss the NHL (GO Devils) but do see plenty of hockey . My son is a goalie on a squirt A travel team..........they are also doing great this year......have not lost a game to another A team!!

beating Michigan DOES mean something...and besides Evil Princess, maybe next year when UVM joins Hockey East you guys will make it out of the basement!

Yes, I am certainly missing Hockey Night in Canada. Even though my son plays and practices four times a week in Minor Midget AA, I miss the Leafs.

My boyfriend misses watching the Redwings.
I, however, get my hockey fix by watching the NMU Wildcats. We beat Michigan State (our old coach is the coach there now) 2 weeks ago and this weekend we play Michigan Tech (big rival).
I actually enjoy college hockey more than professional hockey. The games are great and I know all of the chants that we say! Plus the fights are pretty good too! I enjoy watching them.
