Im curious about both. Ive got my 4yo twins booked on the Pirate cruise. What are your experiences.

Alos as of now I havent been able to get Illuminations, so Ive booked MK. Has anyone done on since they have revamped the fireworks display?

Our DS did the Pirate Cruise last May, when he was 8 and he had a blast!

The CM's were terrific, too!

My son did the pirate cruise last June. He was 3.5 yrs old & he had a wonderful time. They had a snack of pb&j sandwiches (uncrustables?), gummi bears, rice krispie bar & a juice box. I believe that is it.
They all got a goodie bag full of the treasures they found. My son still has most of the 'treasures"

We are going to WDW again this June & my son has already said he wants to go on the pirate cruise again. So I will be trying to book it :)

DS went January 2003 when he was 4. He LOVED it! He still has his treasure too ( "gold coins" plastic spiders, rings, necklaces...) He had a great time and would probably want to go again, but he doesn't know about hsi surprise trip next month.

We did the MK fireworks cruise on Jan 1 for my DD's 7th birthday. It was wonderful! It was our first time to see Wishes and it was amazing. We saw Wishes from the park several times, but being out in the boat was much better! Shannon was our captain and she was full of great info. We did the Illuminations cruise back in June and it was nice, too. I think I liked the MK cruise better because you could see everything. When you do the Illuminations cruise you park under the bridge and you are not able to see all the lights around the world showcase. Both are worth the money in my book!

I did the fireworks cruise back in August when I went with some friends. We really enjoyed it. We were picked up at the Polynesian, and our driver took us around the seven seas lagoon before the fireworks started. We got to see the little electircal water parade over by the wilderness lodge. The fireworks from the boat were great- very relaxing. The view was so good that we actually saw Tinker Bell fly down from Cinderella's castle. I recommend it.princess:

Thanks to all, I have my 4yo twins booked on the Pirate Cruise, and I was a little worried about their age and going on alone. Im so happy to see a few of you in my age bracket that have sent yours!!

Ive seen illuminations there were 2 families 10 of us in all and we all really liked it, however I think I happened to call and get a cancellation that time, I am not having luck getting it this time around which is ok, I'd like to do different things so we have the MK cruise booked now. Im glad to hear you liked it. I know my kids will love it!!

We did the Mk fireworks cruise in Oct 2001 for my sons 5th...we are going back in 90 days to do it for my Daughters 5th...

In 2001 we paid for the Birthday Fireworks cruise departing from Wilderness Lodge...

Both my son and daughter (who was 2.5?) still remember it. It was definitely magical for us - just our family and the Captain who was wonderful.
