That's exactly how it was! There was too much excitement for me in too short of a time period there. I don't handle stress very well. I'm surprised I didn't trip or something heading for the phone.

So yes, I was having a bad hair day yesterday and now I have MUCH less hair.

Okay. Now--- I would have had my post about your hair FIRST---- but just as I finished typing my flip out---( I cannot believe you've done it, we said we weren't cutting until AFTER the trips......)
I got a call from Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a talking telephone that says "Call from..." and says who it is that's calling. Well I was in the middle of my freak out over the hair and the phone rings, and I say I'm not answering it, I don't care who you are, Shelly cut her hair!!!!!!! And so it says "Call from.... DISNEY."

Well I jumped up so fast my chair flipped over!

It was IPO, checking to make sure that they had all of my info correct, wanted to see if there was anything I needed before arrival. They are just wonderful at the GF, I cannot say enough nice things about them.


Now, back to the matter at hand.

I can't believe IPO called you. I have to say -- so far I am not all that impressed with the Poly IPO. No calls. And it takes forever for them to answer an email. I hope I am more impressed when we get there.


It's not exactly like Belle's. But kind of close. It rests on my shoulders!! I lost about 7 inches.

Yep -- that's what I was thinking about. The heat, humidity, rain - none of which agrees with my thick hair. Hopefully this will make mornings quicker!!

Sheree! Where have you been girl? I hope your DH's hernia does not get any worse and he can avoid surgery. DH's comes and goes. Unfortunately comes more than goes. He usually has about one good day a week, the rest are pretty rough.

Yes, hopefully the whole trip won't be a washout. I can deal with some rain. I'm just hoping to get there safely and on time at this point!

I always think I'm going to be on the Dis more, and then I don't post for weeks. I guess I'm just fickle. LOL.

So, I am obviously way behind. Are you all ready to go??? Aside from the weather - how is everything else?

Luckily we missed the bad weather. It rained really hard and it looked pretty treacherous where we are, but no damage this time THANK GOODNESS. I don't know how much more of that I can deal with before I snap. LOL.

I can't wait to see pics of the new hair!! I always do something drastic and ridiculous with mine. I love just chopping it all off and dying it a new color. I think I have been every color at this point... Well, except like pink or blue or something crazy like that

I am planning on cutting my hair before the trip too. I had a pic of how I want it but misplaced it I just want to time it right so it is had not grown too much when I leave.

Well it's short for me. But probably not for most! It rests on my shoulders. My bangs are a little shorter than I would like and she made them all wispy looking. That will take awhile to get used to.

I was thinking that too about pulling it back, but I tend to get headaches when it is pulled back too much.

I think I can still pull it up. Maybe. Into a very short ponytail!

I got mine chopped off at the beginning of summer on a whim after too many pony tail days. The hairdresser went a little crazy and gave me layers without asking. Oh well it's hair and it will grow back. I actually liked the length but could do without the layers. I'm just now able to pull it up again but only at home because I get the little fringes underneath.
