Who's Gonna Have More Fun? Two PTR's for the Price of One!

Well School's Out For Summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: The kids got home a few hours ago. And with some awesome report cards I must say! ::yes::

I usually pay them each 9 weeks when they bring home their report cards ($1 for each A and 50 cents for each B -- and I have threatened to deduct $5 for a C, but luckily that has never happened!!) But this school year I told them I was waiting until the end of the school year to pay up, so today's the day!!

DS12 has a total of 25 A's and 11 B's this year! And DS9 has a total of 30 A's and 6 B's. I am so proud!!!! :goodvibes

So I am going to take that money and any other money they have saved up for the trip and put it on Disney gift cards for them !!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

:lmao: Oh yeah I know it's coming. And the whole time I'm saying to myself, It's coming, it's gonna roar. It's gonna be loud, don't jump. Don't scream. And every dang time I jump and scream and I tear up. I don't know why. It's stupid and I hate myself every time for acting that way.:rotfl:

I can't wait to see Belle on it. I'm bringing ear plugs.:rotfl2:

No hairy gorillas??
How bout cute little elephant butts?

Do you like striped Zebras????
Ugly wildebeasts???

any thing with fur??????

:rotfl2:

That is so awesome!!! Yay for school being out!!!!!!! Good for them-- they are doing so great and are so smart! I like your way of thinking-- they can buy something with it on the trip! That is a great idea. If it were my kids they'd be wanting to buy candy. Like, as in, Tomorrow. :lmao:

I'll pass thank you.:rotfl:

Yeah if I had given it to them along the way DS12 would have spent it the day he got it. He's a spender. DS9 would still have his though. He's my little saver!

Ain't nuthin wrong with an Elephant butt.

A horse? Do you like horses??????:rotfl2:

Your youngest is going to be a banker. That way he....er, they... can be rich.;)

I like Horses. My neighbor has some. But you know what? they eat too dang much. I could never feed one.:confused3

The Horses at WDW in the MK are beautiful. The one that runs with the Headless Horseman on it during the MNSSHP is gorgeous. But they don't let him run an all out run anymore. It's a canter or something. But boy when he ran that time we went to the MNSSHP it was crazy. And dangerous I'm sure.

Oh why wait until next time to find the HM's? Start looking in all the Disney movies. They are EVERYWHERE.

I can't believe you walked so far! That is crazy! You must have had extra energy or something!:lmao: I walked this morning at 6 am. I didn't want to have to deal with the heat later. I have been trying to sit outside as much as possible during the day b/c I really think if I stay inside all summer the heat will be that much worse on me by the time the trip rolls around.

Oh yeah-- thin gauzy material---- it is a must!! I can't wait to shop a little more for the trip.:yay:

I will start looking for HM's now - maybe I'll see some in everyday life, like plants and things! ;)

I did my usual 4 miles today, and whatever extra energy I had the other day was not present today! If I was really smart, I would go at 6:00 a.m. like you did. But I am too much of a night owl to get up and out at that hour! That's a good idea to be spending some time outside getting used to the heat. How hot is it where you live right now? I imagine it gets up there pretty high and humid as well. :scared: (our friend again ;))

I forgot to ask you something that I am curious (OK, nosy) about. Is your DD called MC or MCat by friends and family, or is that just a Dis name that's easier to type. I think it's really cute if you do!

Is anyone else thinking "Alice Cooper " right now? No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks.......

Awesome report cards! :woohoo: I can imagine that you are very proud! ::yes:: What a great idea to put their hard-earned money onto a Disney GC!

Teri-- 4 miles --- that even sounds long! How long does that take you? I am usually gasping by the end of my one mile. :lmao: I have to drink a recovery drink-- but we have hills in the 'hood so that might be what my problem is. This week here it's been in the upper 90's with humidity in the upper 70 ish percent. Today and this weekend is going to be a bit nicer- a little breeze and overcast. Which is the way I like to go to the pool, so we will be headed there tomorrow!:thumbsup2

MC- MCat. She is blessed with one of those long Southern Double names, so I shortened it for writing's sake. But her friends and brother and sis call her either Sissy or MC. I did call her Cat when I was pg with her but have never called her that in real life, but I like it too.
Belle isn't Belle's real name either.;) Just a nickname that we've called her since she was born.:) But Drewboy is definitely Drew and he's my boy. Which I know you understand.

Congratulations to your boys and their fantastic report cards! :cool1:

I hope that they have a great summer vacation! :cool1:

Congrats to you and your boys for their wonderful grades! I know it makes you a very proud mama! We do $1 for each A too.... which reminds me, I haven't paid up yet!

It takes me 1 hour to do 4 miles. It's a pretty good pace but not too bad. If I'm by myself I have my earphones in and music playing, and it's a scenic walk with other people walking/jogging/biking, so it's nice. If my friend is with me we're yakking the whole time. It is hilly at our camp, so when I walk there it is tougher! Definitely makes a difference!

So y'all are just as hot and humid as we are. We had family over tonight, and I don't know if it was just because there were a lot of people over and we were in and out, but my A/C could not seem to cool the house. A pool sounds nice - our old house had one and this is when I miss it! We really have no place to swim any more. Have fun tomorrow at the pool!

I love all those double names - is that really a Southern thing? Anna Katherine, Mary Grace, Bobbie Jo, Betty Jo.....sorry, I got carried away to Petticoat Junction. I assumed Belle was Belle cuz she looks like a Belle! My girlfriend also has 2 daughters - a redhead and a blonde, and she calls them her redbird and her yellowbird. Very pretty girls, like yours! :cutie: I think a boy named Drew is just born to be sweet.

Enjoy your weekend! :goodvibes

Teri...I looooved Petticoat Junction..i could immediately hear the theme song in my head when I read your post!!!!

Well 4 miles in an hour is great. I try to walk about three times a week to get myself conditioned for this trip. I know it's gonna be brutal on us. I like to listen to Disney music when I walk- it sort of passes the time for me.:lovestruc

A pool-- it's nice, but it's the neighborhood pool. Wish it was in the back yard!

Oh yeah- you know a lot of Southern girls have double names. Well those in SC do at least. A lot of those names you listed are in my extended family actually.:lmao: Jodi's not my real name either.........:rolleyes1 I have a double name too-- Jodi's just a nickname my dad gave me. Of course he called me Jo and Bird and Jobird too.
I think Belle looks like a Belle too! When she had her pic made when she was little with Belle in Norway at Akershus, she looked like a mini me of Belle!:upsidedow
