Who's Gonna Have More Fun? Two PTR's for the Price of One!

DS starts school on the 9th of August! WAY TOO EARLY! We get out right before Memorial Day (like that Thursday/Friday). It's crazy. I would much prefer after Labor Day! It seems like school has just ended and now he's going back. All his supplies are bought...just need to get him some new tennis shoes. Got him quite a few pair of jeans at the beginning of summer from the clearance racks - love those sections of Kohls!!

Can't believe how close your trips are getting! They'll be here before you know it!!!

Oh my that is early!! It would be nice to get out before Memorial Day though. But I would hate to go back in August!

I know, time is flying by. Unfortunately so is summer.

Well I sent DS12 out for the mail and he came back with our Magical Express Mail!!! I was so very excited!!!!!!!!!!

And then I opened it up and all the arrival info was WRONG!! They have no flight listed for our arrival and our yellow luggage tags say we are going to the Poly.

So I had to call ME and explain to them that we have 2 ressies and we are going to CBR first and all that. They had all the info, just not in the right place. She was very nice and says she got it all straightened out and we will get a new booklet and tags in about a week!



And since I have photobucket open -- here are some pics of the kids and Jack playing in the swing-set, pool, sprinkler (POTC sprinkler!) thing they had set up yesterday! (Don't mind the high grass behind our yard, the neighbors haven't mowed in 5 weeks)

Shelly- that stinks about your ME booklet! We had a similar problem in March- our tickets said we were going to the Contemporary (which we originally booked), but we were really going to the BC! It was easy enough to call and straighten out though. I love the backyard pictures! The boys are getting so big, including Jack!

Shelly, those pics are great! That is what summer is all about! Playing in the water in the back yard - not inside in front of the TV. (there's time for that, too, of course ) The boys look like they're having so much fun with Jack, who also seems to be having a ball! Is he trying to jump over the hose in that pic? So cute! I hope you are feeling like Jack is becoming a family member and not a guest. I know it takes a while to get that feeling, especially after having had a pet for so many years. How cute is that picture of Jack sleeping! Lala is right - all the boys are growing up so much!

Glad to hear you got the ME mix-up straightened out. But be sure you have all your confirmations with you to be on the safe side. Maybe you can just keep the wrong ones for souvineers. (I know I probably spelled that wrong-that is one word that never looks right to me )

I had called to give Disney my flight info and not long afterwards went to check it on the Disney site and they had listed us arriving on September 25 and departing October 25. I did not get our flights until after I changed our dates to October, strange how that happened. I quickly called and got it straightend out, I sure would like to stay that long in Disney.

The boys and Jack looked like they had a fun day playing and such a cute pick of lil Jack all tuckered out and sound asleep.

Jo....sometimes shopping with the kids is just murder!! I hate when my kids argue in the store...I get all freaked out and say Just forget it , we are LEAVING!!! I have done that a couple of times, so theyknow I mean it and usually straighten up...but Lord, then you have tocome home and crash!!!

Shelly- Congrats on the Magical Express mail...even if it was wrong. At least you get to celebrate getting ME mail twice!

I love shrimp and crabs but they have to be prepped Maryland style- doused in Old Bay. Shrimp and crabs are just blah if they aren't steamed with Old Bay! I also have a great recipe for fire roasted shrimp veracruz that we make about once a month. I have to watch the cholesterol so I try to go easy on it.

Your pics of the boys and Jack are adorable. They looked like they were having so much fun! And they have all grown so much! I can't believe it!!!


I cleaned Belle's room yesterday for 6 hours. Yes it was that bad. I have a whole bunch of costumes and clothes to take to the consignment shop. Sad to see it go, but happy for it to leave.

Now I have to do the rest of the house. Today is my closet day. Why is it that I always do my Spring cleaning in the summer or Fall?

Hope everyone is doing good. We are just wishing the days away over here.....

Thanks Teri! Yes, I try to get the kids outside as much as possible during our few months of warm weather!! I don't really have trouble with them wanting to stay inside watching TV, but playing video games is another story.

Jack had so much fun playing that day. He even jumped in the pool a few times. (And jumped back out very quickly ) Yep, I think he was jumping over the hose in that pic.

It's hot outside and I'm inside and I'm borrrrrrred. Which is a bad thing. Bored Jo's tend to get into trouble.

Especially when they've had a lot of caffiene. It's Mark's fault- he made my coffee this morning in my huge Minnie Mouse mug and decided it wasn't full enough so he made another espresso and dumped it in.

Therefore I am



I've already eaten chips and salsa and a whole bunch of junk. What should I do now?????????
