Oh, and the Riverboat thing is not definite yet..just a probably. Still stinks! I've never done it before and wanted to make it one of our MNSSHP things to do. Oh well....I think I'm more dissappointed about Crush being down, but just one more reason to come back!

I feel the exact same way about both of them!! I have never been on the Riverboat but after Mommyboo posted the pictures of it on MNSSHP night I figured I would give it a try. So, I hope that it will be open. And I was terribly dissapointed about Crush. I was REALLY looking forward to that. However, I do love Dory also, so I guess we must wait and it will be even better when we DO get to see it.

I noticed a couple of days ago the hours had changed too. MK is open until 11 one of my Saturdays, and 10 on the other, instead of the 9 orginally scheduled. What I thought was odd though, is the 18th, which is Tues, the MK hours changed from 9-8 to 9-7. Why would they shorten the hours? Obviously they are expecting large crowds judging by the extended Saturday hours.

We are going towards the end of October, 21-28. We went the same time last year and had no problems with crowds! We are going to MNSSHP October 25, we loved it last year!! Hopefully the same will go for next month!!!

I'm focused on having a vacation in October!! My mom was so sick in the hospital last year, this is our blessing... and with all the other stuff being thrown in our path (DH has an eye problem, swelling of the cornea, etc that I think he feels he's going blind, he's seeing a doctor, about every 3 days!! )

I do think its incredible they open an exhibit after we left last July (Crush) and its closed before we get there this Oct!! But, what we dont know, we cant miss!!

Its Disney, its a vacation!!

Nothing, never mind, these items are a "figment" of our imagination...

(seriously, these are "closed" exhibits, what you dont know, you cant miss!! Now, last July, Its a Small World was closed, so this OCT - in 13 days - we get to RIDE and be obsessed with... "its a small world after all, its a small world after all... its a hope and a world of fear..."}

I still don't have my ME tags. I called ME directly and they didn't even have my address. so now they have to send them express because we leave a week from Sat. Oh well so far that's been the only big snag in our trip. (besides the living seas being closed-ds huge nemo fan) Let's hope no more hurricanes are on the way.

October is coming up VERY FAST! And next Friday night is the 1st MNSSHP for this year!!!! I hope all of the DISers who are going the first week of Oct and attending the first of the MNSSHP's has a fantastic time!

30 days to go.... then on October 30th when I am sitting on the plane coming home I will be planning my next WDW vacation for hopefully next August....

Here's another project from last night. I found a small back pack that I'm going to use as a purse/camera case while at WDW. I found it in the video game section at Walmart. It is a carrying case for Nintendo DS. It is the perfect size for me to carry my digital camera, cell phone, park tickets and money. I think my sunglasses will fit too. I printed the lime green mickey head about 3 x 4 inches with my screen name on it. I did it as a transfer and ironed it onto a pocket that I removed from one of the T-shirts and hand stitched it to the front of the backpack. If you see me wearing this stop me and say hello.

That's a thought. I was trying to figure out how I could get away without a huge backpack for our short trip in 14 days.

We'll be there from October 8th - 14th...Staying @ Pop Century for the 1st time...Most looking forward to "just being in the Happiest Place in the World" and the MNSSHP!!!! Only 2 weeks left...I can't wait!!!!

Up in the middle of the night, packing and doing laundry. We leave Sun afternoon for a hotel near the airport, then on a morning flight Monday.

I felt reallly organized until yesterday when I started getting a familiar pain. Off to the dr's and discover I have a uti. Am hoping the antibiotics kick in quick!

Wonder why I can't sleep

I feel like I'm packing way to much but afterall, we're going to be there for 8 nights, 9 counting the Chicago hotel. I know I don't do laundry while I'm there unless it's an emergency and what if I want that pair of shoes! I keep thinking of things I "need" as I'm packing too which means another trip to WalMart.
