Was it any good? I completely forgot about it.

It was okay- mostly about Sam and Luka looking for her son who ran away from home. They found him, but Sam and Luka broke up. He wants to have kids with her, and she doesn't.

Everyone else was at County- Neela, Abby, and the cute rock'nroll doc (I forget his name) are residents now, and get interns to teach. Some are more succesful than others.

That was it- it was good, but not as good as it used to be.

Ok - enthusiasm starting to increase. I know as soon as we leave the house for the airport hotel on Sunday, I'll relax.

tikipoo - thanks, am feeling a little bit better so I'm assuming I'm on the upswing. Am faithfully taking my antibiotics.

Picked up some snacks for the plane (just in case) at K-mart last night, bought a really cute summer shirt from the clearance pile, got home, tried it on, know why it's on clearance! I'm saving the trip to return it for when I realize I forgot something else!

Help me -

I'm over 40 and over weight - what the heck do I pack???? I figure the weather (I watch the 10 day forecast from weather.com) will be in the 80's during the day, and 70's at night...

I usually wear shorts... until I started people watching... I'm too tall (5'11") to wear the capris (I think they look stupid on me!!) but will I feel stupid in shorts too? I cant see wearing pants, I sure as heck will not wear jeans!! (I'm also 'hormonal' and dont see the need for a sweater!! I'll pack one for dd however!!)

I will be at WDW from October 20 to October 23! This was a surprise trip because my in-laws invited me and my husband to join them when they come to visit us in October. My husband and I live in Georgia and they live in Delaware. I am so excited!! I have been wanting to go back for three years since our last trip. We will be staying at POR. I can't wait for Dole Whip and the Tower of Terror. It is awesome!

It's because of the "hormonal" thing. We're afraid to answer.

Here's my opinion, take it or leave it. I know I don't hardly look at anyone else while I'm in the parks. So, I think you should wear what you find to be comfortable and screw what everyone else thinks.

I'm 5'3'' and heavy. But I get hot just like everyone else, so, I'm wearing shorts, tank tops, and a bathing suit sans cover-up at the water parks. (okay I have enough courtesy to not wear a bikini - I leave that for the 20 and under crowd!) The only time I really SEE anyone else is if they are making a "statement"...lets say...and even then I never think too hard about it. Just have fun and be cool

So I went shopping... Target, Lane Bryant, JC Penney's, Carsons Dept Store... I didnt spend more than $5 on anything!! I bought 5 pairs of shorts, 5 tops - I spent $35 TOTAL!! OK, I have a really strange assortment of colors - maybe... RED, Lime Green, khaki, blue shorts - - I just felt I looked like a dork in the capri's!!

Maybe it was the PINK crocs I wear!!

Also, I tried on 3 costumes - They have some with the "hoop skirt" that hoope is one metal thingy at the bottom of PLASTIC!! *sigh, but it was the "look" I wanted... but PLASTIC??? next to your skin???? In FL??? I dont THINK so!!

All right so I cant be QUEEN - guess I'm back to square one...

I don't think you could possibly look worse than me in capris! I am 5"10" and I have VERY thin legs. I will not wear shorts unless it is 100 degrees outside , and I never usually wear capris at home but I am actually going to bring a pair of capris on this trip just in case it gets too hot for the jeans that I will be bringing with me. I DO feel sorry for the people that might notice the twigs betwen my capris and my sneakers though.
I guess we should not stress over it, there are too many other sights to see at the parks.

I'm 5'1 and fluffy. Capris are the only pants I don't have to hem! Wear shorts and be comfortable. I usually bring several light summer dresses because I'm comfortable in them and I feel cooler.

I don't think you'd look silly at all. It is a great way to get one some of the headliners with relative ease. I thought it was fun, fun, fun! There just seems to be this energy coming from all those kids. You can't help but have fun!

Capris wearers of the Dis UNITE!! See, that's what bugs me most - I've been "people" watching, and I dont see anyone wearing shorts but ME!! Esp if they are in my "age" range - (mid 40's) even more "puzzling" is the young 'hip" kids are wearing jeans!! (ITS TOO HOT!!) A friend in Texas (tall) told me there are all kinds of styles = keep looking... I tried on skinny legs, bell bottom legs, cuffed legs... some went past the knees and some went almost to the ankle - - every time I looked in the mirror, I just burst out ! I think I need to take someone who will reassure me, that its ok, capris are fine on my long legs!!

Vanyel - make sure to wave to me!!! Which hotel are you staying in? Did you do priceline? Or just make a reservation? I've been successful biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com getting those one night rooms real cheap!!! (we live 30 miles west of OHare - and I grew up in Hoosierland - I'm a Ball U Grad!!)

fleurbie - - GO!! It will be great fun!! And I think you will find it well worth it - you get a picture to commerate the evening!!
