Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

We'll get there October 5 and will check out October 9 to go on a cruise. We're staying at Staybridge Suites in LBV. Hoping for good weather! :earsboy:

Our dates have changed just a bit. We are now arriving late on the 14th and departing early on the 23rd. Not that either of those days "count" because we aren't DOING anything other than arriving and departing!

I am so excited but I can't do anything else right now! AAACK! I can get MNSSHP tickets as soon as they go on sale, then it's that LOOONG wait until July so I can start doing PS's.

We also have to buy our airline tickets, but that isn't all that exciting. That part is just expensive and stressful! :earseek:

:flower: I've noticed a lot of posts asking for the dates of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Here are the dates from wdwinfo: Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 2005

The dates listed on allearsnet.com are different than these dates. Allears lists them as
Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31

When I was searching the disneyworld site, it doesn't look like they have been released yet. We will be there Oct 1-8 and was tentatively planning the 4th...which is not an option per Deb's site.

My apologies if this has been discussed previously in the thread but I am curious if anything has been released to confirm the dates?

Thank You

I trust the dates posted here as a Webmaster posted them after getting them directly from a Disney source. They wouldn't have posted them otherwise.

These are the dates here on the DIS: Sept 30, Oct 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

We should be finding out soon enough, probably the beginning of May...

Yep those are the dates that one of moderator's (Baloo) posted on www.wdwinfo.com Thanks Baloo! :flower:

I posted the direct link to the MNSSHP info (from wdwinfo) which has the dates listed and let everyone know that they were from wdwinfo (which is the DIS)

I decided to put the dates and link to the MNSSHP from wdwinfo because I noticed that so many people were asking and I thought it would help because a lof of people weren't aware that the info was posted on wdwinfo. :)

No big. If the dates change, there are only a few of them that are different. :) I'll make DH do it! :rotfl2: Just kidding. :teeth:

We just needed something new to talk about!! :rotfl:

If the dates change (they weren't posted or tickets werent sold ) so I'll be flexible!! Now about the crowd levels,, compared to the heat in late July early August, not to mention the crowds... also I figure if people went, and posted positve reports going on Spring Break, a 5 is no BIG DEAL for the eeyore family...

Oct 14 thru 22 thats a Friday to Sat

staying a POP 50 Building

Hoping weather and crowds are minmal. :)

I think I'm going to put the UG touring plan to the test. The way the other dates recently have been going up and up (from 3's to 8's ) I guess this is going to be an ever popular year to go. If what Len Testa  said is true (and I'm taking him on his word) the plan make all the difference. Anyone here used one? :disrocks:

Ok... purchased my Amtrak tickets last night and took car of the towncar this morning... all I need now is food and spending money.... COME ON OCTOBER!!!!!! I NEED A VACATION!!! :earseek:

:love2: MommyBoo, I have another change. Don't shoot me out of a cannon please! ;) We are now going to stay 14 floor CL at the CR for Sept 30-Oct 2. :cool1: I am so excited!!! We are also planning on MNSSHP on Oct 4 too. If you can update us that would be great, Thanks a million!! :love2:

we are! My dh and I are going for my bday and our anniversary from 10/15-10/23 at BW and AKL - yeah! It's our first time for the Halloween party and food/wine fest too - also first time for deluxe after many, many times there - and first time there for a bday! I can't wait! :cool1:

How is everyone deciding what day to go to MNSSHP? :confused3 Anyone that's been before have any advice? I read Firday is the busiest followed by Suandy. Tuesday and Thursday were recommended as the first choice. We would like to go Sunday 10-16 but are also considering Tues 10-18 if crowds are smaller. I'm thinking about not buying tickets to see if any nights sell out. What's everyone else planning if you have several dates to chose from? We want to go to LLT before the party too.

I don't put really that much thought into it. I do try and avoid Friday if I can but if I can't I'd even do Friday (I've done Hallween night twice!). I base my decision on the best night to fit in to my and my family's plans. I've gone Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday (both MVMCP and MNSSHP) and I don't think Sundays are that bad at all (unless it's Hallween night). It is a school and work night so the locals don't come for it.

One thing I do think about sometimes when picking between two night is a possible rain out (only happened once that I know of). If I plan for Sunday or Tuesday and one of them gets rained out, I can try and get my tickets switched to Thursday night.

When you are talking about the beginning of October, Sunday isn't bad so you can really just pick whichever night you want to based on your schedule and preferance.

This year I'm doing MVMCP and I chose Tuesday only because it's my birthday!!

This exactly what I want to do for my 40th birthday. :cheer2: It will be 12-21-07. That's a Firday night so if there is a MVMCP it will probably be the last one. Hope you have a great birthday!

Thanks for the good tips on picking a date for MNSSHP. I guess if a Sunday works better for us I will not worry about the crowds since it's mid-month. Good tip about the weather. We went ot MVMCP on a Sunday in 03 (opening night). We thought the crowds were steady but not too bad. We waited to buy tickets at our resort that day. We still got the advance purchase price.
