MommyBoo, I have another change. Don't shoot me out of a cannon please! We are now going to stay 14 floor CL at the CR for Sept 30-Oct 2. I am so excited!!! We are also planning on MNSSHP on Oct 4 too. If you can update us that would be great, Thanks a million!!

Done! DH and I went back and forth on concierge. We finally decided to wait for another trip. Please let me know how you like it!

I think I'm going to put the UG touring plan to the test. The way the other dates recently have been going up and up (from 3's to 8's ) I guess this is going to be an ever popular year to go. If what Len Testa said is true (and I'm taking him on his word) the plan make all the difference. Anyone here used one?

I've read so much about plans, and I really think the plans that the UG has, as well as the website listed touringplans.com I believe, are very useful. We went last summer, and we were in very high heat and humidity, and crowds were high... we didnt stick strictly to the plans, but the spirit of the plans, and got everything done, and absorbed the atmosphere! Now I've read many many threads about tourguide mike, and while I purchased a passporter fr or the pockets, maps, and pictures, I debated on buying tourguide mike, and I opted to save my money based on my personal strategy of park working available tours!! I understand that you can only be on tourguide mike for a small period of time after your trip, and even if you plan on going say 7 months later you're asked to buy again, which incurs creative lying... tweaking... anyway, it seems those that didnt like tourguide mike was because the same information was available, one poster posted a close tour for scrutiny, and was banned from tourguide mike, I agreed that I wouldnt be able to take advantage of the tourguide mike site, but to each his own, many love it, so you have to make your own descions....

Will do! I went through the same thing but this will be our last trip for at least a year or two. My DH is taking me to Scotland and Ireland for 2 weeks next year so I am not going to complain! But I am going to make the most out of this trip.

We are having a hard time deciding between MNNSHP on Tuesday, 10-4 and Friday, 10-7. Tuesday would probably be less crowded, but Friday night is our last night in WDW and that would be a rather fun thing to until until the wee hours. Any past attendees with suggestions? TIA!

Definately go on Tuesday. Fridays are more crowded since it's a weekend and locals come for the party.

And note that Friday 10/7 is the Friday of 3 day Columbus Day weekend - may be even more crowded than usual (I think I read that that Friday usually sells out). We're hoping for MNSSHP to be on Thurs the 6th instead of Tues the 4th - that's our last night at WDW before moving over to USF for the holiday weekend - you're right, it would be fun to do the late party the night before leaving !

Which MNSSHP thread are you talking about? So far the DIS still has it as 10/4 and not 10/6. Other websites, though, have 10/6 and not 10/4.

we will be there oct 29 - nov 2 then on to vero beach for a few days. Staying at boardwalk in a two room. Will be our second MNSSHP. The first with are two and half yr old twins. Can't wait. Would love to meet anyone and there families. You will see see our room because we always decorate it with spooky and fun halloween decor. Everyone always stop to ask us about it.

Were there in Orlando Radison Barcelo I.Drive from 16th - 24th Oct, then onto St Pete's Beach for 24 - 1 Nov, then on to New York for 3 nights.

Sorry..there is a "MNSSHP tickets" thread..i just bumped it up (maybe it was on page 2?)

Allears & intercot & a majority of other disney(unofficial) websites have the dates 10/2, 10/6, & 10/7, while DIS still has 10/2, 10/4, & 10/7 listed. I had planned on going 10/4 now I have to do my itinerary over...but I guess we just have to wait for official dates from the Disney website. Hopefully they will go on sale May 1st like last year so we won't have long to wait.

We are going with a family of first timers Oct 1-8 and staying at AKL!!!!!!!! I can not wait, this is our families second annual MNSSHP. Oct is my favorite time of year to go. We are looking forward to Boma (yum!) Everyone that is going in Oct, have a great time!!!!

We will be there Sept. 29- Oct. 6!!!!!!!!!This will be our 2nd MNSSHP and our 5th F&W fest. Wouldnt miss either of them. This is going to be an extra special trip b/c our 2 DD's will have their b-days there!! DD 13 is on Sept. 29 and DD 9 is on Oct. 1. DD 9 will have her double digit b-day in the MK! How cool is that???!!! DD 13 still thinks Disney is "way cool" and wouldnt celebrate her b-day anywhere else. This is also the first trip out of appr. 15 that we will be staying on grounds!!! I think we want 2 rooms at the AS movies !! Shhhh, it's a secret!

I think I have to stop reading the boards!! I'm booked at POFQ, but keep thining of switching to AKL - for the pool, and theme. My dad isnt anxious to do Disney, he's a golfer, and he sits at home socializing with neighbors... I'm thinking the POFQ is going to be too quiet!! Then I read all the excellent posts on WL, I remember when it was built, it was HUGE... I thought someday to stay there, I must confess all the stories of pool chair hogs has kinda backed me away from chosing this resort... but maybe...

I know how you feel! In December when I was planning our first WDW trip, I had first wanted to stay at the Poly, then AKL, then the Poly then I finally switched to the GF. I was SO happy I did. I visited the Poly and didn't like it at all. The GF is much more my style and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
