Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

Wow!I am shocked that so many people from here are going in October.
We are going from Oct.2nd to Oct.7th.We will be staying at Shades of Green.This will be our first time staying on property.
I am really looking forward to Animal Kingdom since I have never been and introducing the family to MGM.

Hi all,
My family will be there Oct 29th- Nov 6th, a split stay between the BCV and the Poly. Planning on attending MNSSHP on Oct 31st my two DD will be 5 and 17months. Thanks to all for a great site and terrific info.

Me too. I was going insane waiting for October and thought I'd go crazy if I didn't start a thread about who's going in October! Thankfully we're all keeping each other sane by keeping this thread on the first page most of the time!

Boy, It's good to know that I am not the only one going crazy. I can't wait for Oct. either! I have started an itinerary and thinking about my PS's. DH thinks I am crazy.
I am most excited about the fact that we are surprising our kids with this trip. (they are 6 & 10 and we haven't been since March '03) I don't know if I am going to make it 6 months without slipping!

4forDis, I know what you mean, I keep telling DD8 we're going Oct of 2006 - I really dont think she's buying it tho!! My mom kept calling, (its my mom and my dd's bdays in Oct!) DD has this all planned, but its darn hard with Disney sending me confirmation notices every other day!!

BTW, on another thread someone brought up the hurricane season, anyone worried about this? I'm not, I think all the reports I read here from last season have put any concerns to rest (well, ok the fact that wdw provided food and some people decided to grab all you can!! )

I'm just heading to disney!!

Eeyore45, Kids are just too smart to keep secrets from! It told my kids that we are going summer of 2006 because they are just too old to miss a week from school! The other night my son walked in while I was reading a disney book and I had to hide it under the covers. It's getting tough. Good luck to you!

Hi, my family will be there from Oct 1-7 and we are staying at Give Kids the World for my daughter's Wish trip. We are going to the Oct 4th MNSSHP! We are soooo excited! We have never been there in October.

we are going for the first time for halowwen time . we have been five times to disney but never for halloween what is it like any tips on where to go ?

Yellowangel - Just keep reading the boads, you are in the right place! And Welcome to the DIS! You have a nice long trip planned. You should be able to see and do just about everything. Wow! I just went through the list and tallied up the number of people that will be visiting the same time as my family. Looks like we are going to be there for a less busy week. Here are my findings:

Oct 29- 44 posters
Oct 30- 27
Oct 31- 21
Nov 1- 18
Nov 2- 15
Nov 3- 13
Nov 4- 11

Looks like lots are going the week before Halloween, and leaving on the 29th. As the week goes on, the attendance our week keeps dropping.

So, are most of the Oct. 31 MNSSHP attendees from Orlando?? UG says that the crowd levels for our time frame are higher than the week prior, but according to this thread, that isn't true. Should I be worried about crowds?

Hi, I will be in WDW 10/1 to 10/9 with my husband and son. We are celebrating my son's birthday while we are there. We plan to be at the MNSSHP on 10/4. I have been planning this since September and can not wait to go. Still trying to decide on driving or flying. If we can find good prices on flights from Chicago we will fly.

We're going Oct 28 (DH's birthday) to Nov 3! I think we're going to stay at the WL.

Any thoughts on which MNSSHP would be better - Oct 30th or 31st?

It seems like forever - I can't wait to get there. I think DH will love WL, my son calls it the lincoln log hotel
