Who's going in January 2003?

DD (11) and I will be going for our annual "girls only" trip Jan 17 -22. Thinking about staying at the Poly again but DD wants to try the Contemporary.

DH and I are going in Feb for "alone" time. Not sure where he wants to stay but I am leaning towards the Poly again.....

Still looking forward to November trip though!!!!!

We will be arriving at OKW on Jan. 17th for 4 nights. We are surprising our two DD's (ages 9 and 5) for Christmas. I'm going to buy some disney dollars to put in their stockings.

They are going to freak! It is so hard to keep it a surprise!

I will be there Jan 2-5 with two girlfriends. Its our "mommies only" trip! Staying at All Start Music for now hopefully new codes and AP rates will be out soon!

Will be at the WL the 5th -the 10th and looking forward to it cold weather or no cold weather !!!!!

We will be there from Jan 16- 25th and staying at either All Star Movies or Sports. We have stayed at Movies 3 other times and will be at Sports for the first time over Thanksgiving. We will let the kids decide on which they liked better for our January trip.

Sugarplumsmom (Laura) - I see you are from Cranberry Twp. I am from the South Hills area!! When in November are you going? You will be there when we are in Jan! The kids have the 17th off of school so I dont know if we will leave Pgh on the 16th in the evening or early on the 17th ( I prefer the 16th) Maybe we will be on the plane with you in Jan!!!

My husband is from Mt. Oliver/Carrick and I shop at S. Hills Village quite a bit. We are going Oct 31- Nov. 9. For the January trip, my daughter has a half day on the 17th, so we may leave on the 16th. Hoping that the airfare goes down again. We got air from Pittsburgh for Nov. @133 each. I'd like that again. DH would love to go for the holidays but I can't take off work fromNov.11 through January 1. What a bummer!!! Keep in touch!!!

My DH and I are going Dec 31 thru Jan 5. This is the first time without the kids. We are celebrating our anniversay. I can't hardly wait.

Are family of four will be there January 8th - January 13th. My husband is running in the WDW Marathon. We'll be staying at the All-Star Sports. Can't wait!

$133??? Wow! I got ours for $185. This will be our first trip there over the holidays. Im dying to see WDW decked out for Christmas. I really wanted to see the MGM water tower with the giant Mickey hat that they talked about on our back lot tour, (thats when I realized I HAD to see it at Christmas time) but now I read that they dont use it anymore Still.. to see the snow on Main Street and the decorations and the characters dressed for winter and Christmas will be awesome. Im so excited.

As for Jan... I would like to leave the 16th and just hang out at the resort or DTD that night. It would be nice to relax the first night and be ready to go for the 17th. We have annual passes this year, so an extra day wouldnt be but the All Star Room. And those are really cheap with the AP price!!

We will be at the YC for the first time for 1 night, Jan.3, before our cruise on the Magic Jan. 4-11!!!!!!

No we are actually going to drive this trip. We are flying down in May though & I will be looking for airfare then. Good Luck!

If airfare is too expensive, we'll be driving too!

The only good thing about driving down is that I'm not limited on what I can pack, (I pack light when we fly) and we bring our own pillows!

That's EXACTLY it! In January you have to pack for ALL types of weather ....we have 2 little girls & we just think it will be easier to drive. In May, it will just be my hubby & I and it will be hot, so it will be easiest to fly! I got your PM - what airlines did you use last January?

We will be in the World in January since DH is running the Marathon again this year. Not quite sure what dates, but tentatively Jan 9 - 18th and staying at BCV.
