Who's DVC Nuts? Husband or Wife?

Ok... I have to admit it!!!
I'm CRAZY for DVC.... I'm the one who wants to do Add-Ons...ALWAY"S on the DIS site, etc...... The wife just laughs at me.....She's PRO DVC, but nothing like I am!!!

Ok...who has the sickness in your house???

I need a DVC anti Flu shot, so I don't do anymore add-ons!!

DW is pro DVC as well but I am pretty extreme WDW and pro DVC at the same time but she is coming on strong

I am the sick-o in my family...the husband.

My wife told me she thought I was nuts when I came up with this idea in 2002.

But in July 2002 she loved BCV. And in July 2003, as we sat on the large balcony one night at our 2-bedroom villa at OKW, watching the rain fall, she told me it was the best vacation she had ever had...and what a wonderful idea joining DVC was! Yes, there was pixie dust in the air that whole evening.

Let's join, she would say, over and over.
In my infinite wisdom, I would say, "no, its a rip-off, like all timeshares"
After three years we took the tour, and I skeptically agreed.

Now, I could kick myself for not joining sooner.

And now I am the one with the sickness.

That would be me...the crazy husband. DW is definately on-board, but doesn't care to do the planning. Just enjoys the benefits. Fortunately, my two DD may have inherited the dominant DVC gene from me.

I am the nut in my house. DH was the one who took the tour and declared "we are joining." He is still interested and excited, but I am the nut on here everyday, reading and reading. DW the nut!

I am the nut who reads message boards and surfs the internet for WDW/DVC related stuff constantly..but DH is just as nuts for WDW and DVC as I am!
I can't imagine having to deal with someone who got grumpy about it. LOL Makes it so much easier to have him as excited as I am about our vacations!

It's both of us! I'm pleasantly surprised with the support I get when I mention going to Disney or talking about DVC. Today he put on a Disney CD as dinner background music.

The pre trip nut is myself-the wife. Once we get to WDW DH is the disney crazed fool. He has to see and do it all over and over again. I am just content to be there. Wow look out he is like a child on the loose with no rules. The video camera he has drives me nuts. He has to video video video video over and over. At times I must cant take it anymore. And then he of all people wants to shop shop shop. Can you imagine a man wanting to shop like it is the day after Thanksgiving. Guess on that thought I am a lucky woman.

I'm the CRAZY one in our family. Dh just goes with the flow, lets me handle evertything and I have a great time doing it. I think the craze may have finally rubbed off though, just the other night he was talking about reading some of the threads on this board. I usually read some of them to him while he is watching tv. He said "boy you sure can learn alot from the other members" I was thrilled to hear that. When I first discovered this board he would tease me for spending so much time reading the posts.

I'm the Disney Nut in our family. My DW went along with the DVC purchase but only under the condition that I would not insist we go to WDW every year; but spread our visits to other places like HHI and Vero and also various II exchanges. I figure if I get a visit to WDW every 2-3 years I'll be doing good <sigh>. Hey I guess I could divorce her, but since we've already been married 32 years, I guess I'll stick it out for the duration .

Oh it's me, definately me....DH thinks I need some kind of 12 step program. It's worse than heroin. And to boot, DS4 and DD6 are followining in Mommy's lead. We just got back on Fri from a week at the Marriot in Marco Island, when I asked DD what she thought, she replied that it wasn't Disney! So discriminating, so young! DH finally caved when he knew it was 3 against one. Now he just smiles and hums alot when I get rambling

While DH thouroughly enjoys our WDW vacations, it is me that is crazed and does all the planning, keeps current with all WDW & DVC things, reads these message boards and other Disney related threads and was the one who initiated looking into DVC. Glad I have so many crazed companions here!!
