Who's calling MS on May 16?

I a little scared about May 16th now. I am trying to get a BC at VB that week planning on calling at 9am every morning. Now it looks like a crowd! And my DD5 will be having a little graduation from Pre-K that morning so I can't spend more then an hour on the phone!

I'm starting to worry that it will be next to impossible for me that morning now too! We will actually be checking out of OKW that morning, and into the Dolphin. It's looking like I may run my cell phone battery down to nothing even if I call right at 9 AM!

I'll be calling May 16th, too. I want March 15-20, 2008 at AKV in a one bedroom savannah view. I'd normally avoid the week before Easter but it's my 50th birthday and all such milestones are spent at the Magic Kingdom.
I already have a studio at VWL booked for March 15-20 which I will cancel as soon as I get my AKV reservation.

Well, I don't own AKL, I guess I should have said that. LOL. I have to call on June 6. that is why I am the dreamer with my head in the clouds.

Neither do I, but I will be on the phone June 6th to see if I can book a savannah view studio or 1 bedroom for the last part of September!

Maybe I will get some pixie dust thrown my way But the Eyeore in me says 'I doubt it'

Oh well, I still have a ressie at OKW, but would really like to stay at AKV!

I am new to DVC, just bought at AKL, and are staying in September in Saratoga Springs. The current plan would be to stay at AKL in late April or Early May 08, and I assumed the May 16th date means nothing to me, that I would need to wait untill 11 months prior to the checkout day for my trip.

I wish my 50th birthday WASN'T the week before Easter next year, but it is. That's why I'm locked into that week. Otherwise I'd much prefer early March! I'm really afraid the parks will be jammed the week before Easter. It's been a lot of years since I've gone to Disney at Easter break time so close to Easter (March 23rd this year.) I've gotten spoiled with the empty parks in early December!

I'll be calling on May 16! For Sept 1 - 4 (or 5 not sure yet) a 1 bedroom savanna view (hoping conciege.... is that going to be available then?). Already have ressies for OKW studio Aug 30 -Sept 1. Also debating doing a short trip on July 2 to AKV as I wanted to stay right when they first opened them. That would have to be either a studio or 2 bedroom as that is what I was told will be all that is open on July 2 for bookings. Guess I better make up my mind quick if I want the July 2, as booking time is coming quick!

Calling on May 16th for a savanna-view studio Nov 21-24! We'll be returning from OKW on May 15th, so I won't have too much time to plan Another vacation before making the call!!

I'll be calling on the 16th too. As it turns out, I'm calling at almost exactly where my the 11 month window would be anyway. I'll be looking for a 1br savannah room for April 14-19. I figure I'll be able to get the first few days on the 16th and then have to call back each day for the rest of the trip.

Just to save you some grief (and maybe a bit of frustration and disappointment)...

Tomorrow is the 15th.

The 16th is Wednesday.

I'll be calling tomorrow too...just to get used to the menus so that Wednesday's call will be a bit smoother.

Does anyone know the exact configuration and number of rooms available for September. I know that concierge and villas aren't available then, but not sure if any standard view studios or 1 bedrooms will be.

Based on the Units declared so far: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=18661689&postcount=199 I think there will be at least the following villa types available in September:

Dedicated Studios: 17 (14 Savanna View, 3 Standard/Pool view)
2BR Lockoffs: 23 (17 Savanna View, 6 Standard/Pool view)
Grand Villas: 3

There are a few units still to come in the "Sep '07" phase of AKV. It looks like there is room for one or two more Standard view 2BR lockoffs, and maybe four more Savanna view 2BR lockoffs and a few more Savanna view dedicated studios.
