Who'll stop the rain ? (east coast)

Today it rained ALL day long. I really need some sun.

I hope the cool weather stays with us for at least one more week. I get out of school next Thursday and cool weather is a blessing in my classroom. I'm on the 3rd floor, facing the sun and it feels like an oven when the temp. gets higher than the upper 70s.

I gotta agree the rain is pretty ridiculous. I just hope this means we will get summer-like weather well into October/november. I wouldn't mind that one bit.

It is just so depressing. We wait all winter for this time of year and now all we get is rain. I hate it. Enough already.

We got pounded in Pittsburgh yesterday, and more is expected tomorrow .
In our town, we got 4.5 inches!

It is incredibly humid and hot today. The forecast called for 100% humidity

I'm to the point where I'm assuming the whole summer is going to be like this. At that point I will go to WDW for my one week vacation (8/30-9/6) where I will be met with a hurricane that lasts from approximately 8/30-9/6, at which time I will return home to NJ to be met with 30 degree temps. Can you tell how the weather takes its toll on my outlook?

I'm so sick of the rain. I leave next week for a week + of wilderness camping on the Adirondacks on Wednesday. I tend to like sunny when I camp. I am working on a project that a few coats of marine polyurethane, and it is taking forever to dry between coats. Only good thing, maybe the boating season will have a saving grace on Lake Hopatcong.

I admit I actually like the rainy weather! The upstairs of my house is usually unbearably hot this time of year, but not this time. I been sleeping great in this nice cool weather. We don't really have air conditioning, so this has been wonderful. I want the whole summer to be cold and rainy!!!!

I remember we had 3 days of 92 degree weather back in late April, and I was absolutely miserable in my house!! I take this cool rain any day.

About every 3 hours or so we have had about 5 minutes of sunshine - and then right back to pouring rain.. I'm wondering how my DD's class trip is going over to the Great Escape in Lake George.. Her dad hasn't brought her back here yet, so I assume they're doing "something" over there - probably dodging the rain..

I heard that they haven't had any rain in Seattle in 28 or 29 days.

Shhhhhhhhhh!!! I'll be in WDW the same time as you and I haven't yet started my hurricane obsession(usually by mid July I start freaking out) don;t make me start it early this year!

DGD and her dad just got back from the class trip a little while ago.. They got extremely lucky - NO rain at the amusement park!! She said it was cloudy, but the humidity kept it from being "cold", so they were able to do all of the rides - as well as the water park! I'm so happy for her.. Next year she moves up to the middle school, so this was extra special - spending the day with all of her teachers, the principal, etc.. She's exhausted though.. Was yawning like crazy when she was telling me about all of her "adventures"..

Did they get a lot of rain up above you? I'm guessing the rivers are the things to worry about with a watch like that
