Who'll stop the rain ? (east coast)

We were watching the Red Sox game (they are playing in Boston) and the announcer said it is so cold that the most popular item sold at the concession stands today was HOT COCOA!

It's a beautiful day here in NM. 86 degrees and 22% humidity which is actually a high percentage for us. We get the best weather out here! It rains so little that when it does, we welcome it with open arms. No tornadoes, no hurricanes, no floods (well, almost never), very low humidity so the summers are comfortable, no heatwaves, no weekly/monthly 15" of snow in the winter, mild winter temps, the sun shines over 320 days a year and we have an annual rainfall of around 10" a year (if we're lucky).

Sorry for bragging. I really do hope those of you with so much rain get have some nice sunny summer days ahead.

It really feels like fall is starting and I should be school shopping it doesn't feel like summer just started. The sun is out and the three older are playing outside but the baby is napping so I can't even go enjoy it

I should probably whisper this very, very quietly - but - upstate NY - the sun is shining and NO rain!! At first I couldn't figure out what that "brightness" was outside when I got up this morning..

Anyone else "lucky" today?

Just talked to my DH who has been back in Boston since Saturday and he has once again said the "R" word for today.... I asked him when the "R" will be stopping....no clue was his reply.

Talk about extreme opposites in different parts of the country! I just watched the weather report on our local news. We are now on 18 straight days of no rain, and 14 days of over 90 temps. The high today is 100!

Well, it's supposed to be in the mid-80's in the middle of the week here in Central Maine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! My DD is REALLY wanting to go hit the town swimming pool

Im in NJ..i think they said on the news last night that it has rained 17 out of 21 days. Now i would rather rain over snow any day..but this is just rediculous!!!

There was a strange yellow glow in the sky this morning. Of course it is now overcast again. At least the temp is up to 71. I can't wait for my DCL cruise 7/18 so I can be warm.

My DH installed our new rain barrel 4 days ago and we haven't had rain at our house in Bowie, MD since then.

I asked him why he didn't get it installed weeks ago. LOL

Now that the hot weather is headed to the DC area, I guess I will have to break down and turn the A/C on.

No sun here in Central Mass today, it's RAINING yet again. I did see the sun for about a total of 5 minutes yesterday though! Keeping my fingers crossed that the weathermen are right and we'll finally see some sun tomorrow.
