Yes, Ryan was just awful!!!!
But, He also did have a lot of strong, mature, confident, qualities...
His good looks just got to me!!!!

Alright I'm not the only one who confesses to being blinded by Ryan! I enjoyed some of his cute one-liners! I also love the southern accent.

I actually STILL like him. I find his conceit hysterical. Unlike that red lipped mannequin guy you can't really take him seriously.

I think he'll be CLASSIC on the Bachelor Pad. Looking forward to seeing him on that!

Yes, in the clip Elinor posted, even Chris said, "Because Chantal went the farthest?" We all know they did it together in the fantasy suite.

I was watching the Red Carpet show for the Academy Awards after someone interviewed George Clooney & Stacey Keibler who was in an all gold lamé gown. The interviewer said how Stacey was the perfect "trophy girlfriend" down to the glittery gold gown!

I noticed that right away.... and posted early on.
She presents herself as some kind of trophy...
I don't think I've ever seen anyone wear that amount of sparkle, glitter, and shine.

Those aren't dresses that you actually move and 'live' and have fun and be human in.

They are all over-the-top for show.

One word comes to mind...
Instead of trophy - just substitute the word arm-candy.
Very close to the same IMHO.

Yes, but she also does wear jeans and casual clothes. She just gets gussy for the dinners and rose ceremonies. I doubt she dresses like that in her everyday life.

I'm watching online again - may I say I am so sick of the Lay's commercial I could scream!!!! They used to play different commercials - now they play the same 3 over and over EVERY WEEK!

I thought Ryan was really cute - I love a bad boy. But now I just think he's a jerk. Can't help but think of Wes when I see him. And what's with the blue suede shoes? "WINNER!" I actually have more respect for Emily now.

Okay - he's going to say it's the producers that make him look like an arrogant a** - what do you think? Will he be the next Bachelor so we can see who he really is?

Chris was so sweet in the games - awesome attitude! I would give him the bravery award, too! Oh, and the rose too - but I really like Sean!

I don't watch Bachelor Pad. It looks too sleazy to me. It airs during the off-season, when The Bachelor(ette) isn't on.

Spoilers are any info from other sources about the show that spoils events in future, upcoming shows for everyone. For example: naming the final four guys picked, naming who Emily ends up with. Plot points that haven't aired in the show yet or in the previews. If you happen to see Emily driving driving around town in the next few weeks, having a hidden tryst with the guy she picked, refrain from telling us about it. But, after she's made her final pick, post away any info you get!

Spoilers can be found pretty much anywhere. Just do a search for Emily/The Bachelorette, and you will EASILY find some source, tabloid website, article, or magazine that will give you a spoiler on "leaked" upcoming events. Sometimes in just doing a Google search, you may accidentally get spoiled from the titles listed in the search, without even reading the whole article.

The threads here on the DIS for The Bachelor(ette,) have been traditionally NON-spoiler threads. (Each show here has their own rules & personality.) It should be a SAFE space where we can come and discuss the show without people telling us about OTHER stuff they've read, even if we are speculating about it. The point for us here is to have FUN speculating on what may happen and to be able to discuss it all with each other.

There are plenty of other threads/websites where people can discuss spoilers. As I mentioned, there is usually another thread started here, it never takes off. Whether because of the OP, or no one is interested in it, I don't know. I don't participate in that thread, as most others do not seem to either.

Thank you. I know what a spoiler in general is. I just did not know about a particular spoiler web site for this show. Since I have never watched it before I am not familiar with things. I don't think I will check any of them out because I am enjoying the surprise each week with the guys.

she confronted them, but it wasn't about that. i remember that preview. we saw the scene, but the meaning was about something completely different. she wanted to give two roses instead of just one final rose.

also, a friend of mine "knows friends of Ryan's" and says it's the editing. i told her there was WAY too much for it to JUST be the "editing." and the fact that the other guys were celebrating his departure speaks volumes.

You need to find the MUTE button on your computer and think of it as your best friend. I use it all the time so I don't have to listen to those darn commercials. I also use it when I click on a website that starts playing music. If I'm not visiting YouTube or watching a video I don't want to listen to some stupid music someone wants me to listen to while surfing their site.

That scene may still be upcoming. I remember her saying in the preview, "So what other guys are not here for me?"

She confronted Chris this week, but it was only about a question for the rose ceremony. So, either the editor was being smart & tricky, and overdubbed that question onto this confrontation, or Emily confronts Chris again outside that door. It appears to be the door where he makes his entrance to announce the final rose of the evening and the producer is there to cue him when to go on.
