Anyone cheering now?
Hi to all of you proud cheer moms out there. It has been many months since I have visited this thread. Right now my DD is in Penn. at her first UCA work week. She made the team a couple of months ago and now they will find out where in New England that they will work. She is so Excited!!She has been cheering for 11 years now. Some with Allstars and her school and now is a SCSU cheerleader. This past January they came in 4th in the National All girl division in WDW. It was very exciting. She has cheered 3 times in Disney and it is amazing. She is also back with her old Allstar Senior Open team so she is now 19 years old and on 3 cheerleading teams. Wow! I am very proud of her but not sure how she will have time to study in the fall. Well we will be back in WDW this Jan. from the 12-15 so maybe we will see some of you all there. Good luck to everyone!!polkadotminnie said:Anyone cheering now?
Thank you and good luck to all of your little ones and coaching. Enjoy it because it goes too fast. I remember when mine started at that age and I used to coach her. Good luck with your teams!polkadotminnie said:Tink4ever-Congratulations to your DD!![]()
That is what I have heard!! Not Cheer carolina Carolina all-stars!! And yes they were good!)Carolina Allstars shut down? Wow, I thought they were good. They did have a team attend Worlds I beleive in the Sm Sr division!!
change is hard, but my DD is WAY happier where she is now. She's even improved in the last few weeks!! At our old gym, it got frustrating because if a tumbling pass or standing tumbling wasn't in the routine - then why practice it? There really wasn't "pushing or encouraging" the kids to get better. (That's why half of the squad was doing cartwheels/forward rolls!!!)
