Who Will Be In the "World" in June

tinkfan-I agree with colleen costello, you'll have a ball during the 4th of July. Not only do the parks do something special, but so do the resorts! It is a wonderful time to be there.

We'll be there! This will only be our second trip to WDW. DH, 2 DS's(17&14) and I will be at BCV 6/24-6/26. We'll visit family for the weekend and then we are off to the 6/29 4 day Wonder cruise! We will return to OKW through the 9th of July. It's so exciting reading your posts regarding the 4th of July,colleen costello and sm4987. This will be our 1st 4th at WDW and we can't wait! Mary

Sorcerer's Apprentice, OKW is a real treat on July 4th. They have all kinds of decorations and activities that make it seem like the 4th in a regular neighborhood (only cleaner!). I saw photos from last year with people in hats and costumes, and I know there were activites for kids. Bet you'll love it!

Everyone keep on the lookout. I keep hearing some serious rumors about some discounts coming out for our time period. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have resservations for June 22-26 at BWV, but I'm not sure if we'll get to go. My mother has terminal cancer and could go at any time. If she is better or passes by then, we'll go...if she's still with us and sick (I'm staying at her house taking care of her), we'll pospone.

All I know for sure is that this will be my first stay as a DVC member! Trip planning is the only thing that has gotten me through. Heck, I may blow points and stay at the Poly....just because I've never stayed there yet and want to!

jennymouse-sorry to hear about your mother. I pray that things work out alright for you and your familyand that your mother is doing better. New to DVC, how exciting. I'm still debating on doing the same for my family. I hope that everything works out, and you will be able to do your trip this June.

We will be there from June 26 - August 3. We will be staying at the GF (FOR THE THIRD TIME.) We use to stay in August from like the 8 thru the 14 but it was better staying in July cause when we get back we still can enjoy the summer and there is a lot of summer left. They say July is the most crowded month but we still love WDW. It also is the hottest month in WDW but then we can use the pool more!
