I'm glad to hear TeamUbr made it.
I popped up my Aliner and made a list of needs and loaded a few things.
My pop-up lives in my garage - here it is before I roll it out.
On the front left you might see my Tiki Torches. Got these half off in the late fall last season. (Two Tiki gods for the price of one). Since the Fort doesn't allow torches and open flames, Gulf is one of the few places I can bring these out. They are fueled and ready to go. I'm going to burn my hour long Back Ground Music loop from the Poly to play while they burn at sunset on my outdoor speakers and also the 20 minute loop I have from the Tiki Statues in front of the Jungle Cruise. To kinda set the mood, ya know?
Even when I set up in the driveway I pull out my level to make sure I am good front to back. Normally in a campsite I would also set it up across the front to check side to side but my driveway slants to drain the rain but you get the idea. When raising the roof things should be pretty level.
When I pop the roof, the first thing I see are my DampRid container (to keep things fresh and mildew/moisture free) and a bowl of shaved Irish Spring soap (for a pleasant interior smell).
Because I will load our two bikes on the BACK of the Aliner, I need to add some weight in front of the axle to offset. So I have loaded my two EZ Up awnings in their black cases in the dinette area. And loaded 2 fans. I replaced a bracket on the EZ up frame of one tent that broke when I was setting up for some DIS'sers to come tailgate with me to watch the Cheatin' Ole Miss Rebs against the Tide (Pat Dye famously said, "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'").
I also check the battery on my cordless driver for the scissor jacks and make sure I got enough bug powder to sprinkle around all the ground contacts.
Here is my setup in the driveway.
Also checking things inside, the Mickey pillow my Mom made for me on my birthday for my March trip is ready to go. (Love you Mom).
Last thing is to run down to the local gas station and air up the tires in the camper and tow vehicle. That way when we pull out on Tuesday morning for Gulf we can head south with no intended stops needed.
Now I just have to get through Sunday and Monday.
