I did!
I remember using my fingers to scoop it out of the jar, then spreading it on my face (and hoping it didn't get in my eyes - the sting!), then rinsing it off with water from my hands, just like they showed in the commercial. Later, as a young adult, I still bought it but I used a facecloth for better control.
(And realized the scrubbing part of cleaning your face was just as important as any products used.)
I stopped using Noxzema somewhere along the line, but not too long ago I noticed it came in "wipes" form, so I bought some just for old times' sake. They had the same smell, but recently changed it to a different smell
- more generic. I bet feedback was that people didn't like the smell - maybe some of them had never used the real stuff.
Anyway, I bought my daughter some of the wipes and one of her friends noticed the label said "Makeup Remover" (among other more traditional uses in smaller print) so thought that's all they were good for. Apparently not familiar with Noxzema. It made me think about it again.
Funny part, my 87 year old mother still uses Noxzema the old fashioned way. Open the jar and there are the handprints inside, lol.
So, who else used it besides me and my mother?
