I rope drop, which confounds those who know me as vacation means sleeping in since I am up at 6 a.m. For work every day. If I am home, I sleep, but when I travel I get up and go. I didn't go through a poke and prod at the airport, spend hours on a plane and pay thousands to sleep (which I can do free at home lol). Ultimately I am cheap and want all the bang for my buck I can get. Though I will admit the day I was the only person in Frontierland, and I mean no guests or CM in sight, it freaked me out
. It was like being in a scifi film where the world ended and while roaming for a safe zombie free home I wandered into MK. Kept waiting for the aliens to attack.
Being used to 6 five days a week, getting up to RD isn't a big hardship for me. It also puts me on my work "feeding schedule" where I have lunch at 11:30 (typically hungry by 11) and dinner at 5. So I eat ahead of the curve and find shorter lines midday while others are fighting for tables and eating. Always tell the coworkers, we are used to eating brunch, put it to use.
Glad others want to sleep as it allows me an easier time in the parks. I do more in that first hour or so than the rest of the day. FP are mostly just for second rides on faves, or the second park I plan to visit later that day.
