Looks like Auburn will get its shot at Oregon.

What happened to Bama yesterday? All the Horned Frogs were rooting for them to take down Auburn. Nevada sure helped us though. Looks like TCU may get to the Rose Bowl.

Some great games yesterday, capped off by the Boise St - Nevada game. I thought BSU had pulled off another miracle win at the end of regulation. Poor FG kicker. I don't feel so bad now about my team (Cal) losing a couple of games to ranked teams due to missed FG's. There was a lot more on the line last night for Boise St.

I am just sick, what a stupid way to lose a game........I was ready to buy that Rosebowl package ! Saved me about 5k . I ate breakfast next to Billy Winn today at IHOP. He had such a great game.......I'm surprised he could even eat after that dissapointment !

Michigan State had a terrific season and one the players should be proud of. The seniors really have to be excited to go out with a successful season.

Too bad Michigan lost to OSU, but it was an uphill battle for them this season. You can only hope for them to have a better season next year. I'm a big MSU fan though, so I don't feel too bad.

I'm guessing Michigan State will get into Capital Bowl; which isn't a bad one. I know fans were hoping for a Rose Bowl, but we can't complain being up there with Wisconsin and Ohio State. We're in great company. I just wish OSU was on our schedule.

Start up the basketball thread. Mich St. isn't doing too well so far this season, but I still like to talk b ball.

I'm a Mom of a kid that age, I feel sooooo bad for Kyle, but as the Boise coach said one play can win a game but one play does not lose a game.
Here is a shout out to the great Boise Fans, class act, we enjoy this rivalry and love when you all come to town, we had a great time screaming & freezing along with those of you who came.

The Badgers are Rose Bowl Bound and I ordered tickets through the UW last week .

We not only needed a win, but we needed an impressive win. 70-23 was impressive enough, I think.

I don't want to take anything away from OSU and MSU. Both were really great teams this year. If you has asked me if we were going to the Rose Bowl at the start of the regular season I would have laughed in your face. But my beloved Badgers overcame their bumbling and came on strong during the regular season.

All I can say, is thank the good lord Painter and the b-ball boys and Versyp and the b-ball girls season's have started. Time to switch over to those games.

and now the PU basketball team gets smoked too.....not a good day for the PU faithful.

I am not so quick to buy that line......a missed tackle or dropped ball is lots more understandable when you have hundreds of plays......when you're a kicker I think your standard is completely different. I could forgive the one miss....we would of still won, but TWO ! That is hard to swallow. I hold Kyle no ill will, and I am sure he feels afull, but that is because he does have more personal responsibility for the loss in my opinion.

Oh well.......one more game to redeem himself !


PS I ate breakfast this afternoon at IHOP next to Billy Winn. His hair is so cool.

My brother & SIL were at the game today. They said it was amazing & you were so busy cheering that you didn't feel the cold. Last night I already had an e-mail from Funjet promoting their Rose Bowl packages.

I love my Tide, but this year's team just doesn't play with the heart and intensity of last year's squad. They have much more talent, and much less everything else required to win tough ballgames.
