DH was DVRing the game for me, as I was at the IN high school semi-state marching competition. He called me at half time and said it was bad, REALLY REALLY BAD. Told him to delete it.

I think you were being kind. No Big Ten team should be loosing 42 to 0 at the half. It just shows how bad we are. Ohio State played there second string the second half, guess they felt sorry for us, wish they had scored another 42 in the second half. Maybe then the powers to be would come to see what a poor coach Hope is, he is HOPELESS. He has had three recruiting classes and this is what we have to show for it.

I was out of town on business, I got away from a meeting to see the half time score. I did not expect to be winning but that was even worst then I expected. My on hope is that at least we beat I/U but that is 50/50 at this point.

The only bright spot this weekend was the great Navy victory.

Since we won over OK last week I am loving some Mizzou football!!!

Wow I have been delict in bragging on Kellen Moore in the last BSU game. He threw for TDs, Punted for over 50 yds, tackled, and caught a TD pass! That kid is versatile!

Oregon, Auburn, TCU, Boise State - all having great seasons!

Seems like every week, a few more undefeateds fall - this week it was Mizzou, and Michigan State, courtesy of the IOWA HAWKEYES!!

As the commentators said, the worst thing that could happen to the Spartans was Iowa's one-point loss at home to Wisconsin last week. That one hurts, and we were determined not to let that happen again. Michigan State got the brunt of that anger and frustration.

And for my alma mater, Purdue, it is sad to see them fall again, albeit to a very good, and under-rated Illinois team, after a promising Big 10 start. I am thinking all you calling for a coaching change may be right.

Interesting 4 way race at the top of the Big 10 - Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Iowa all with one loss, and mostly to each other (Ohio State lost to Wisconsin, Michigan State lost to Iowa, Wisconsin lost to Michigan State, and Iowa lost to Wisconsin). So, who's in the driver's seat? Maybe Wisconsin, since they are responsible for 2 of those losses?

I am one of those calling and writing for a change. But the truth is we have him for another three years, Purdue never buys a contract out.

Its now time for my Cal Bears to try to stop the Oregon Juggarnaut. We are undefeated at home and have blown everyone out so hopefully we will put up a fight.

Wow, what a close one that was last weekend for my Iowa Hawkeyes!

And I do feel sorry for you Hoosiers - really, you deserved to win. We really played poorly. Horrible red zone performance - 4 trips inside the 10, with only 3 field goals.

That poor Damario Belcher - I'm sure he feels awful.

Here's hoping the Hawkeyes wake up before next week. We go to Northwestern, which have given us lots of problems in recent years. Then we get Ohio State.

The other D-1 team in Iowa, Iowa State, had a great game against Nebraska, going down to overtime, and almost coming up with a win, by just the closest of misses . . .

Ha, I am hoping for the upset. We are a different team at home. And I am sure the Non-AQ teams are behind my Golden Bears!

There were a LOT of near misses on both side in the game. But a win is a win and we will take it.
