Who knew you had to plan for a trip to WDW! PTR and TR Combined: Completed

Well, the look on his face was priceless. He was shocked! :woohoo: I of course started to cry because it was so cute and he jumped up and down on the bed and then gave me a HUGE

Aww...I just got a little teary myself! I'm so glad it ended up being a wonderful surprise.

TWO DAYS!!! That calls for a piece of dancing fruit:

Oh, yay! It sounds like it all turned out just the way it should -- now you can have a couple days of pure joy & anticipation -- just the right amount; you don't have to wait long now. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am so envious!!! Enjoy the love previous to the trip and have the most fabulous time with your DS, mom & gma! Can't wait to read all about it! Eat a Mickey bar for us and go on Soarin' at least twice!! Try to take time to take a boat ferry at some time as well. So relaxing and enjoyable. It makes you slow down and take it all in.

Thanks too for the newsroom stories. Oy, I so well remember. Hopefully your replacement won't be around for long, and if he is OH WELL, you are out of there and will find something MUCH BETTER when the time is right. Until then ENJOY being a MOM!!!!!! Truly the best job there is. :goodvibes

Have fun and take care!!

P.S..... ya know how much it drives you crazy when someone in the backroom keys something wrong in a graphic......when they misspell something and you can get it off the screen fast enough ...... hmmmm, check your countdown. ;<)

:rotfl: Too Funny! It actually took me a minute to figure it out. My co-workers always used to rag on what a bad speller I am. That's why I'm in tv where the anchors only have to "read" what you say and it doesn't show up on the screen. :happytv: Sometimes when I'm writing I get into a zone and just start typing...Thank goodness for spellcheck!

As for the guy who they hired to replace me....according to a friend of mine, he's on a "2 year plan." Two years here and then he's going to be a news director somewhere....all I have to say is god bless them!

Your'e almost there!

What a wonderful surprise it was - I'm so glad it went perfectly and your DS is so excited! :goodvibes You guys are going to have a FANTASTIC time!

"I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again...."

Okay, that's not exactly true, but I'll be back next sunday after my 7 days at Disney and 2 days hanging with relatives in Ocala. :woohoo:

I can't thank you enough for all the stuff I've learned about Disney vacations. I wasn't just kidding when I chose the title for my PTR. I honestly didn't know people did this. (wait, is that a good thing or a bad thing :) ) Thanks to you I'm heading south prepared and ready for battle...no rain, no love bugs, no screaming kids can hold me down! Okay, one screaming kid can and that's only if he's mine and when that happens, sometimes I try to pretend I'm invisible....I'm sorry to say though it only works in the movies!

So, I've got my tickets, camera, itinerary planned (best days for each park), touring guides, ADR's, hidden mickey spots, good walking shoes, glow sticks/bracelets for fireworks, HDMH's for bags, must have in park snack list.....oh and I packed clothes too.

Oh, one last thing that I thought was funny. Last night was open house at school and I was talking to my son's teacher about the trip and she asked if he was excited, etc....I replied..."Yes, DS can't wait!" I actually called him "DS" to someone...she just looked at me funny. I laughed on the inside, blushed on the outside.

But yes, Brady (that's his name) is over the moon and says he may even take a picture with a character :woohoo: Keep your fingers crossed!

Can't wait to write about the trip and "finally" post some pix.

See ya in 10 days!

"I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again...."

Not sure if you've heard it but Chantal Kreviazuk's version of this is my favorite. Easiest place to find it is on the "Armageddon" soundtrack.

You DISer you. ;)

See ya in 10 days!

Have a STUPENDOUS (and safe) trip! I can't wait to hear all about it.

:flower3:

LOL - I just had an entire conversation with a friend in which I referred to my DS as "Leo"... his fictitious Internet name! :rotfl:

 Have a wonderful trip!

:rotfl2:Did she know who you were talking about?

Have a great trip!

We just got home and it was quite a trip :goodvibes .....lots of stuff to tell you all about. I'm hoping to write my first update tomorrow...but I will give you a little teaser about our trip down.

DS + food poisoning = "I need to go to the bathroom.....NOW!" :scared1:

Oh, no! :scared1: I hope that was the only episode of THAT ... and not a sign of the whole vacation. :sad2:

Can't wait to read/hear all about the trip. HOPE that things settled down after that!

Vacations are great ... but after a week, isn't it nice to be home?

Yes, we had a great trip, and am glad the last 2 days were spent relaxing by the pool at my Aunt and Uncles house, but after a Disney vacation you feel like you need a vacation from your vacation!:rotfl:
