I miss her too . She always talked about being packed away in a suitcase or playing video games with Dallas on the drive down.

Hey, Lisa! This is really enjoyable! I had to laugh about the "smells" comment. In 2008 we stayed at the Beach Club and several of us on the resorts discussions made comments about the smell of the Beach Club. Lo and behold, one of the CMs that worked there also comments on the thread and filled us in on the secret. They have scent machines! From scentairhome.com you can order one for yourself. She was even kind enough to fill us in on the scent the Beach Club uses! I ordered one during one of their sales, and I love it! My house can smell like the Beach Club whenever I feel the need for a little fix.

I love reading your trip reports! I do have a question - we are going in December and we decided to stay @ Coronado Springs - the main reason were the two queen size beds. We ara a family of four - two boys 14 & 8. I heard that CS is close to AK bit a little far from the rest of the parks. I was thinking about changing it to CRS - are the beds doubles or queen's? If they are doubles can two comfotable sleep in them? How close is the CRS to the parks and to DTD?

First off, welcome to my trip report Byron!

The beds at the CBR are doubles. Are you wanting info on the Coronado Springs Resort or the Caribbean Beach Resort? If you want info on the CSR, my friend, KatMark can answer all of your questions. If you want info on the CBR, I'll be glad to try and answer any questions you have.

I always consider myself at "Disney" when I get off the plane in Orlando- LOL

If I were to tell the truth, I'd say we were there as soon as we turned onto Hwy. 192. I guess Mama just wouldn't believe we were there until she laid eyes on the CBR.

I swear I can almost feel the excitement as I read along! First the road signs, then THE sign, then Disney buses! YAY! Disney buses make me happy!

Sounds like check-in was a breeze and you got everything you wanted....can't beat that!

I always unpack everything....I hate living out of a suitcase!

The castmember asked us if we were celebrating an anniversary or anything else. We told him that our anniversary wasn't until August. He said we needed to celebrate anyway and gave us two Anniversary buttons. On mine, he wrote 25 years. On John's, he pulled out a calculator and tallied up how many days it was and wrote it on the button.

That is funny!!! It may be a guy thing, but I am laughing pretty hard about it!


btw... Mine would read 5125 days, approx.,

John thought it was a hoot too. He's a stickler for details though and said the number would change every day so the guy should have just written the years on his button. Party pooper!

Yay! You made it!!! So exciting!!!! I just love the CBR!!! Beautiful resort!!! I would love to stay somewhere else but when it comes down to it we always just go with what we know we love! LOL!

We love the CBR too. Can you believe that we are actually considering staying at a different resort next year? I can't! Knowing us, we'll go right back to....like you said....what we know we love.

Wow did I get behind. I only just finished reading page 4. I was out most of the day yesterday and didn't have much time for Dis. (btw that new thread I opened got closed, but I may start somehting in the PTR board)

Skip loves Pawnstars. And I like it too. It's really pretty good. There is also a show on Monday nights that is called American Pickers that is really good too. 2 guys go around buying peoples junk, basically.
I plan on gett DH the 1st season of Pawn Stars for Fathers day. (I guess I should order that soon! LOL)
Ok back to read more and catch up......

I still haven't watched Pawn Stars. I have seen a little of American Pickers and I think I'd like watching it. It's just been so busy around our house since we got home that I haven't had much time to watch television.

I loved my Vera Bradley hipster. I do wish it was a little bit larger but it worked well.

I was happy that we got all of our requests. The most important were that we be placed near each other and downstairs.

Great update! I have stayed in Jamaica before but it was years ago, I remember I liked that it had brighter colors than most of the other villages. Good that you got your request.

We had stayed in Jamaica during our first stay and really liked the location. So, needless to say, I was happy to be placed in Jamaica again.
