Ports of call will be change if need be. We would be told once on board.

You can find a lot of info at this site

Magical Disney Cruise Guide
once on site go to Magical Disney Cruise Guide and download. It has a ton of info and has recently been updated.

Gatormice it will list all the different services that the Spa offers.

Plus you can get a Passporter for DCL.
Just go to
Passporter's
to order one. But make sure you can get it in time. You might even be able to pick it up at a bookstore. I love mine plus I love the Magical Disney Cruise Guide. It is free just down load. You can print it out. I opened it in Word and it was I think 83 pages. It covers everything.

PamCo88 Have you called DCL to see if they will ship them home for you?
I hope you find a answer.

I am happy everyone is getting docs.

Carrie,
I have not been there. We may go this trip. Here is a link to them.

Kennedy Space Center

Plus here is a link to see when a shuttle will be launched.

Shuttle Launch

May not be any for a while but maybe someday.

If you learn any info please share with us.

Just a reminder:
Kids can eat off of the adult menu.

Plus I updated my last link sorry about that it was late.

Plus anyone have any Ideas in where to meet?

Thanks Peggy for the NASA links!

We are trying to figure out how to take a 4yr and 1 yr on a tour without them being bored;) I think our 4yr will be fascinated by the rockets, astronauts, etc. but it may get old quick. I read somewhere there is a 4 hour tour:eek: yikes!
Wonder if we can leave if we need or want to early:confused:

Anyhow, when/if I find out more info I will def. post it here. We are thinking about going Saturday since we fly in on Friday.

How to identify me/us?! hmmm... that will probably be the easiest. My husband will hide and pretend he doesn't know me since my official name now is 'disboard geek'! :p It's an endearing name I now enjoy (as will he once he sees how much planning and fun we have on our trip thanks to these boards!!)
Seriously though, we will be a rather large group and my DS4 will be so excited I wouldn't be surprised if he has an accident right in the terminal upon seeing the ship and characters! We'll also have a stoller, carseat, a million "carryon" bags and will probably looked 'worked' till we get on board!;)

I Finally got my docs on 9/12, looks like lots of us did. Did not get a bump, but thats fine with me. FDH had his bachelor party tonight and is sleeping like a baby. Me - I can't sleep, he is snoring too loud.

I'm also glad the hurricane seems to be moving away from Florida and the Bahamas. Unfortunately, I live near Charlotte NC and I decided to go get some bottled water and canned goods tonight. It may be coming our way. If not, I'm prepared for our next ice storm. We were without power for several days last December.

We're on the 10-5 sailing. Cruise #2 on the Wonder. Pgeey, waht part of TN are you from? We're from TN also.

Laura,
I hope you don't have any effect from it. I remember the ice Storm. My sister was in it also and her son's home was without electric for 2 1/2 weeks. Hopeful both will stay away.

1971visitor,
Welcome to the Oct 5th board. We are from East Tennessee. We live in a small town called Friendsville. I am about 15 minutes from Knoxville. About 5 minutes from Maryville. What part are you in? How many are you traveling with. We have a list going. I have DH, Myself, DS13, DD9, DS3 and DN14. This will be our second cruise too. We loved our first and can't wait to return.

We're from middle TN about 30 miles east of Nashville in Lebanon. There are 4 of us, myself, DW, DD 8 add DS 5. Any word on the Castaway Club reception?

By the way we had friends in Louisville (near the lake outside Maryville) and used to visit them often. Spent the weekend in Gatlinburg a few weeks back.

1971visitor,
I can be in Louisville in about 5 minutes. We was just in Nashville on Friday at Vanderbilt. I just read another thread and someone reported that they had just returned from a 4 day with Freeport. They stated the Castaway Club Reception was on the Castaway Cay day at 5pm. From what I have been reading DCL will have a invitation in your room. I am looking forward to the reception.

Have you ever gotten sandwiches from Vic's Market at the corner of Alcoa Highway and Topside Road?

No I haven't had sandwiches from Vic's. Are they good. We have had some from Louisville.

This is according to Deb Willis' newsletter:

Disney Wonder Itinerary Change -- Due to Hurricane Isabel hovering in the Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line modified the Disney Wonder's itinerary. The Wonder sailed from Port Canaveral yesterday and ported at Castaway Cay. Because of the uncertainty of the hurricane, the remaining ports on the itinerary will be announced during the voyage.

So, it looks like Castaway is expected to be o.k. - but I'm sure glad our cruise is still a few weeks out!!!

I hope all is well where you live. I have been thinking of you since this storm seems to be headed your way. My local news isn't saying as much as I wish they would about the storm. Keep us posted to how you are doing.
Good Luck and take care.

I can believe it is getting so close. I am trying to remember everything I need to pack. I hope I don't forget my clothes pins
They are get to hang those wet suits up.
