It's more about the company we're going with. We wanted down the Great Ocean Road but there was nothing that suited; so we're using Geelong as a base.


I'm avoiding the shops. Same reason.

November can't come quick enough for our Nov/December 2013 trip to DL and WDW.

Still trying to convince the family to go on another Disney cruise. ALmost go it done on the weekend, we watched the 2012 Disney Christmas parade special and they did some promotional segments with Sam Brown, one of which was the new cruise ship.

But we are heading to Japan -April 2013 with 4 days at Disney parks amongst other touring!.

On the list, Japan sounds amazing.

Hi Battymum!! I still think about you guys - that HOT night at the Wilderness Lodge, and how you had your countdown at home on post it notes - but ran out with 6 days to go!!

My hubs has a "conference" Hahahahaha in Las Vegas early May, so we're dragging the kids out of school (year 10 for Jack - yikes) and meeting him in NYC afterwards. Then down to POR for 5 nights, off zooming around Florida for a week, then back to POR for 2 nights for hub's birthday. Then back to Vegas (we need us some Hash House A Go GO!!).

Japan sounds faboo - and great weather in April and you can buy a $100 square watermelon!!

Looking forward to more details!!!

Oh, I had forgotten about the post it notes - we were so excited!

We booked Japan back in July, I wanted Disney without the heat and jetlag, dd is in year 12 so we had to stick to school holidays and there were some active threads on here at the time, so many people say that tokyo has the best parks - so Japan here we come!!
Unfortunately i don't have that excitement that I had in 2011 though - maybe that will build over the next nine or ten weeks.
Haven't heard of the $100 square watermelon, will google that now!

Sounds like a great trip you have planned, I think may would be a good time to go, without the oppressive heat of September!
