We will enjoy it.......if we survive being with so many others. Not used to that.

Never been to Denali..............just Inside Passage (this is 3rd time).

Gee, I want to go to Denali, but I'm not enamored of going on basically a similar cruise to what I've done, just to get there. Maybe I should take a page from your book!

I've been to all the places we are going to this trip. It is a combination of the other 2 trips.
But..........besides me and Dave, no one else has cruised Alaska, so it is good.

I'm having my "end of term" vacation beginning this Friday, even though as it turned out, I didn't teach.Tom and Matt's family will be with me at the BCV for Friday and Saturday nights, but they were leaving on Sunday and I was going to be solo until Tom comes back on Thursday. Well, I just asked Matt/Maureen if they would be interested in staying Sunday night, they were, and I just booked them a 1 bedroom at OKW. It will be their first time staying there. I was reading on Disney's site that they have a play area at Epcot with Scottish games in honor of the film, Brave! It sounds like fun!


I'm thinking of taking that family on one more cruise and it's going to be to Alaska, maybe. What cruise line are you on?

Princess

Only Princess and Holland go to Glacier Bay and that was a must for me.
We went on Holland the first time. Princess was less expensive so we went with them this time since we had so many cabins to book. And lots of first time cruisers.

Sounds like a fun time coming............you didn't teach? Are you in the fall?

have you ever gone on a Viking cruise? They do river cruises. We're looking at a European one for 2014.

There wasn't any classes for me. We have open enrollment and often by the spring quarter, peope have left due to lack of money or grades. In the fall our school will be on semesters for the first time. I've been told that I'll be teaching, but until I get a schedule, I don't know for sure. I hope I will!

We have never done a river cruise, but have thought about it. I was thinking about Princess for Alaska, because of the Denali train excursion.

Kathy and I went to a presentation at AAA with Viking cruises and it looked interesting.
Dave and I may try the Windmill and Tulip one in spring 2014. Need to see the prices when that year comes out.
Still want another Disney cruise............but Dave wants to do Panama again, so we'll see.

I want to do the Princess Panama Canal, partial crossing. That will most likely be 2014.

Will Kathy be with you in Alaska?!

No.....we did that one in 2008.

This is the family............DD, DS, DDIL, her parents, sister, grandmother and 2 of DDIL's friends. It was mostly for them. There anniversary was yesterday.

I've been booking my January stay. It's not as long as last year's because I missed my Belle too much. Still, I have a feeling she may think it's still too long!

After the Member's Cruise.

VB January 13 to 17
WDW January 13 to 18

Then I head to DS's family for 5 days, DH joins me and we head home! I've a few friends coming down for the VB/WDW stays, so it's different than going solo as I did for some of this year's stay.

This will be our second year. There is a walkway on the water lined with shops and restaurants that DS16 walked evry night with a girl.. Lol. They had a lot of activities, most geared for really young kids, but Jake did make two cute tshirts. Mickey tiedye and a fish stamp (real fish!) kayaking Bob and the boys went shark fishing and want to go back.Mike is signing up for a golf lesson this year. I want to do some sight seeing
