We leave next on the 1250 mile road trip, the family is getting excited. Have my interary from Vacation planning, working on replacing a pool pump right now...so much fun.

On Wednesday we arrive at LAX...heading to DL to pick up our tickets...then off to see my brother-in-law's family. Since we are arriving at LAX around noon or so, we will probably eat somewhere in DTD after picking up our tickets. We currently don't have plans to go to the parks that day(that will be tough!!). Any recommendations for a good place for lunch? We were hoping for Earl of Sandwich, but it doesn't appear to be open yet.

We check in at CCI on the 12th.

In San Diego for AVMA convention paid $3.45 for Starbucks Refresher (basically watery kool-aid) for internet access..then off to DL on Wednesday..whoop!

Update! Thursday was low crowds at DL, Friday was really busy t both parks. Today is quiet so far at DL. Couldn't get my family up and out til 9, but we walked on IAJ and only had a ten minute wait for Dumbo. Now in a short line for the Merida meet and greet. I'm making the gang get up early tomorrow for EMH

Had lunch at Carthay Circle yesterday. The food and service were very good-but it was $200. Our big splurge.

Glad you are having a great time, still having problems with spending $$$ for Carthay Circle and get good standing at WOC. Do not mind the 45 minute wait but............
